For me, it's knowing that when you wake up in the morning, nausea flooding your system and a horrid taste pervading your mouth (both side effects from my medication and tri-weekly injection), you have good food from the previous night waiting in the fridge.
It's smelling the paper of new and old books alike and loving the font of said book.
It's watching my favourite Youtubers' new videos.
It's playing and talking to my animals.
It's listening to music and video game OSTs (especially Animal Crossing).
It's having my mum home.
It's driving around, blasting music from the stereo.
It's writing in my journal or writing one of my stories.
It's having a nice bath or shower.
It's being hypomanic and not worrying about my mood swings.
It's looking at pictures of hot men from classy Hollywood or looking at my celebrity crushes (Chloe Grace Moretz, Anthony Perkins, Dane DeHaan, Hayley Williams).
It's playing a video game that relaxes me and enjoying grinding in said game, or getting lots of the game's currency.
Wow. Writing all of this has made me realise how beautiful life is.
A big thing for me, is getting on the bus when it's rainy and cold and windy and just generally harsh. Because, then I can sit down on the bus, the windows are usually misty and I can just listen to music and wipe the window with my sleeve and look around
It's coming home, after work, and my cats running up to the door to say hello.
It's opening a new book for the first time (paper or e-book), knowing I'll be entering a new world for a while.
It's a stormy day, curling up in my favorite chair, reading a book, knitting, or watching a movie.
It's a cup of my favorite tea.
It's the smell of fresh bread, just out of the oven.
It's soft sheets to crawl into at the end of the day.
