cats and certain types of spices. :'( i can't eat as many hot foods as i used too because my chest tightens up and i end up throwing up bc of the pain. or my lips swell.
I'm not allergic to anything. :') Yay! I don't have the taste buds for wasabi or ginger though - especially ginger. I thought I was allergic to ginger until I found out that I can eat bits of it if it's masked by other things. I learned, as well, that just because you really hate certain foods... it doesn't mean you're allergic haha.
But in my defense, whenever I ate ginger I got really red.
OH, and I am no longer "allergic" but I did get hives whenever I drank a specific brand of water (Life from Shoppers Drug Mart)
I'm allergic and/or sensitive to: penicillin, sulfur, some other antibiotics (a lot of them), molds and pollens, gluten/wheat/oats/rye/barley (Celiac's), and red food coloring.
Also my parents have a lot of allergies as well and I don't want to develop any of theirs, even though none of them effect me at all, so I have to limit my exposure to: pines/cedars, anything in the nightshade family or related to latex (basically means no fruits or veges and no to most edible plants except for certain berries and greens or herbs), some spices, possibly peanuts, nickel, pets, and a few others things that I can't think of at the moment.
So basically I have to avoid literally everything and I'm stuck eating meat or eggs with each meal. Legumes are a no go and soy doesn't settle well with me, which means my hopes of becoming vegan or vegetarian are out of the window. I'm praying someone develops cheap medicine that permanently cures allergies....
