I have a couple areas terraformed so far! My favorite is definitely my museum:

I also have an observatory:

And a little "UFO viewing" tourist attraction with a souvenir stand!

I'm also working on a neighborhood for 6 of my villagers (the other 4 will live in the "woodsy" areas), but it's a mess right now since I haven't moved the villagers in yet.

I'm going with minimal modifications. Just enough to allow the creation of ramps flush with the sides of cliffs

I've created a waterfall and lake with some islands in so far, and a wooded forest area that i'm thinking of moving Molly, Fang and Olive into. other than that I'm just seeing how it goes.

the 1 day wait for infrastructure to be built is killing me already...

Well I already started to make my island completely symmetrical which is stressful but its worth it, and then I'm going to be moving everyone into their places after that and finally will do my paths!

I've done very little compared to many. I did widen the top cliff river and the two waterfalls down to the bottom layer, then added a smallish lake at the very bottom, but that's about it. I am loving seeing the weird and wonderful things people are making, but I really wanted to keep it pretty natural this time

here's what I did so far. Nothing fancy or complicated, I just wanted a lot a small river and many small waterfalls and one big waterfall. The most time-consuming feat was making the majority of the island on the third level (it's inspired on my big sur trip, I wanted a "mountain village" kinda vibe)

I made a post of some of mine!

The first one is my giant lake that is truly a spectacle.

Second is my mini-park area for general hanging out!

The third is my Zen hideaway for those that want some peace in their life.

The last is my sakura stepping stones outside the shopping center.

I'm glad you like it! It is very pretty, especially at night! I'm currently in the process of making a huge bridge across so that you can enjoy it from the middle and have an easy way to pass it haha

I really like what you did with the fossils! Adds such a historical theme to the museum!
