What are you doing to pass the time before the game's release?

I hope it can be turned off.

I don't like PC, but it's passing time, and I installed it for the event on the forum. Then I began to see how autosave worked.

I was growing blue tulips, and waited hours for it, and I hit harvest instead of Xpollinate. And it freaking autosaved.

I can't play New Horizons that way. I know myself and my limits.

I'd end up hurling the console into a wall, so I really hope it's not a 'set in stone' feature.

BOTW's autosave can't be turned off as far as i know (or recall) but you can always revert back to an older manual save if you messed up, it is how i expect it to work in NH.

Yeah, mobile games mess up due to auto saving all the time

Playing other games and doing other hobbies! I have been busier (for me) as of late anyhow, so the time has been flying. All the events on here too have been great at keeping me busy, the staff are so great at keeping this place lively and fun.

When I'm not exhibiting my forlorn cries and emotional outbursts, speculating about New Horizons on The Bell Tree has been a great way for me to pass the time before the game releases.

I have a lot going on. University, other games and hobbies also spending time with my partner. Time flew by! NH will be there in a heartbeat ^^

I have to write and nearly finish my master thesis before the game releases. Everytime I happily think about New Horizons, crippling anxiety kicks in soon after.

I mostly play animal crossing new leaf where I am in the process of designing my houses.

When I am not playing new leaf I tend to play a lot of arcade games mainly rainbow islands.

Other than that I've started playing a game called "A Short Hike." It's cute and has a bit of an AC vibe if anyone is looking for new things to play in the mean time.

Studying for my next uni exams, mostly. I've also been reading a lot, watching some good TV series and playing Pok?mon Shield since its release. And talking about ACNH online, of course!

This month I started knitting again and it's been keeping me busy. Finished a newborn outfit and want to fill a container full of hats to give to the hospital.

Also been playing Farm Together Events. Some of the Sweet Tooth prizes were a Sleigh that you can sit in, Reindeer including Rudolph, Snowman and trees that light up during the Winter season. I completed the event and plan on making a Santa Village with a train running around it.

Bought Sword/Shield and hope to start them.

I have a ton of other games to play to hold me over. Links Awakening, Lets Go Eevee, Ultra Moon, random Super Mario games, etc. I've already waited for about 15 months now, I can wait another 3 months. :>
