What Are You Happy About Today?

Yesterday:
- I finally did something I've been procrastinating on for ages and bought travel insurance! I got an annual plan because it's best for me I usually go on multiple trips a year so taking out separate policies for each one seemed like needless work.

- Work went pretty well last night, I only had a 6 hr shift and it was kind of quiet for a saturday.

Today:
- Woke up and it was a bright, sunny day after gloomy rain yesterday Finally feeling like spring.

- I made some chocolate chip pancakes w/ fruit and protein yoghurt for breakfast

- This week should be a pretty chill week, I've got the week off university and I'm only working a couple of 3 hr shifts at work on monday + thursday

I'm happy that I got groceries and am looking forward to the Dallas Stars versus San Jose Sharks game tonight. No matter the outcome, it should be a fun game!

Felt obligatory to say that the Stars ended up defeating the Sharks 3-2 in the shootout and still hold the top spot in the NHL Central Division!

I'm also glad I'm finally about to be able to sleep IN. I've been up for nearly 24 hours at this point, so it'll be good to get some good rest before this week starts as I have several appointments throughout the week and work as well.

A Kickstarter game I backed arrived yesterday and I've played it a few times with my family already. We had a huge roast dinner which I helped cook and then sticky toffee pudding for dessert (amazing)

Also, I got around to building my Lego yoshi set that my sister got for me when her local toy shop was closing down. I didn't have a yellow Yoshi yet so I'm happy to get him

• I slept really good, slept way past when I intended to get up today but that's okay as I probably needed it since my anxiety was bad last night, I always feel better when I wake up like my brain does a reset or something
• I took a walk to the store to get some household essentials, it was nice to get outside for a bit. I didn't even need a coat. It's 52 degrees and completely comfortable with a hoodie
• My new leggings are really soft and cozy feeling, they fit well
• I'm gonna take a shower later and put on some Victoria's Secret Love Spell body spray and lotion and I'm really excited because it's one of my favorite scents
• I'm making a pizza later, well not making, just putting a frozen pizza in the oven but still yay pizza!
• Mocha and Mustachio are doing really well, I'm taking Mocha to the vet in a couple weeks for a checkup, I hope it doesn't undo the progress he's made or stress him out too much but he seems like he's getting very comfortable here so that's good. Mustachio is up to her shenanigans as usual, always up to something lol
• I feel really good today, in a great mood and anxiety isn't too bad today, and am gonna try to do some art later

My friend took me out to brunch for my birthday, and an older couple came over and complimented our outfits (we're in EGL) and the waitress came by later and told us that the older couple paid for our meal and I CRIED

Other than taking time to terraform on my Island while watching Angry Coconut do his animal crossing videos;
I started an art piece, a small canvas for a friend overseas. He loves and owns a lot of trantulas and decided to paint him the blue one. Just did the background a bit, a nice red/orange to counter from the dark blacks and blues of the trantula once I get round toit.

Nearly finished my DIY miniature room thing, just need to do the umbrella, which i will double check i am doing correcntly with a video, and glue it all down; and will show it via my art thread~

☾ Watched another episode of Hunter x Hunter and the latest One Piece with my family this morning!! Both were good and we later caught up with Grian’s most recent episode of Hermitcraft, which was pretty hilarious imo

☾ I finished the drawing I’ve been spending the weekend on!! It gave me a lot of trouble for no reason at first lol but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out in the end! Also got to play around with Toyhouse profiles and codes again, which I’ve really been enjoying lately. ^^

I worked from 11-8 today so I came home super tired. I called my boyfriend and he was telling me all about his day which was really nice I told him all about mine as well and then we decided to go to sleep. My day was fairly stressful so he knew I’d have a difficult time sleeping. He asked me if I wanted him to talk me to sleep which is literally one of my favorite things he talked about how much he loved me and his favorite things about me. I didn’t hear much before I fell asleep, but I just woke up and thought I would share that highlight of my day.

• Finally got a lot of time to myself since Friday and things shouldn’t be as busy for a while again!
• Got some of the batteries in my watches replaced. I’m always worried I’m going to damage the movements, but all successfully changed!
• Had a great time participating in the Lunar New Year event. Excited for the other upcoming events.
• Played Dreamlight Valley, NASCAR Rivals, Truck and Van Simulator, Truck Driver and New Horizons. Bought the UK Paint Job DLC for Truck Driver.
• I’ve said it before, but I’ve never been a huge Disney fan, but I’ve developed a soft spot for Goofy. So much so, I’ve now got a plush toy of Goofy!
• Got an email from Nintendo informing me that I still had credit on my 3DS account. I merged the funds with my Switch account, which was a nice surprise.
• Bought myself another smart watch. So far so good, it’s very accurate!
• Woke up to a lovely warm, sunny morning! Just going to take Blossom for her morning walk!

Hello friends we are back online!!! I missed you all terribly (it’s only been 10 hours)! I hope you all had a nice day today and that you have a fantastic week!

𓆑 This is the last time I’m gonna talk about my birthday I swear hdhfhdjs, but I just wanted to say again just how awed and grateful I am for all of the beautiful and thoughtful messages I received! My birthday hasn’t really been special in a long time, but you guys’ kindness and thoughtfulness has been the highlight of my past 4 birthdays, and I am beyond grateful. Each and every message I received on Saturday (and yesterday and today!) made me so unbelievably happy, and the fact that I even received a few presents? I honestly have no words other than thank you.

I hope no one minds being tagged, but I want to give special thank yous to @themysterybidder for the delicious tasty cake, @azurill for the lovely purple violet, @-Blue- for the beautiful crescent moon and @-Mars- for the insanely incredible art that they made for me!! Whenever I’m feeling down, I’ll be able to look back on all of the kind messages and gestures I’ve received, and I’ll remember just how blessed I am. Idk what I did to get such amazing friends, but from the bottom of my heart: thank you all so much for everything

𓆑 I helped my mom clean the apartment a bit yesterday! She insisted on doing most of the vacuuming herself , but she at least let me finish up for her and do the hallway and bathroom. Next will be mopping the floors! I also cleared and vacuumed out my dresser’s bottom drawer today, so I can put clothes in it now!! I plan on doing another load or 2 of laundry later this week now that I have more space for my clean clothes!

𓆑 My mom and I put more food out for the squirrels, bunnies and birds!! We haven’t seen the bunnies since last week, but the squirrels and birdies have been enjoying the food in the meantime at least!

𓆑 I’ve been having a very fun and lucky time in Cozy Grove!! The biggest highlights since my last post have been catching 12 new fishes and 10 new critters, 5 of which were mythical!!, and lighting up most of the beach and a good chunk of the island!! I can see so much more of the island’s colourful beauty now, I’m so happy!! I also upgraded my tent (it’s more of a house now hehe) to the final expansion, earned 11 new badges, found a new frog item for my froggy playground room today, and got a bunch of new animals! I got a young Moon Bird named Celeste, 2 more Sad Birds named Caspian and Coolgirl, a young Forest Lagomorph named Gizmo, another Eerie Bird named Shelly, and a Spectral Bird named Abby!! I have so many mouths to feed now….

It’s been a busy good weekend. My cousin’s daughter had her first volleyball game on Saturday so we went over to watch. They play best 2/3 and won their first two sets . Afterwards me and my mom went shopping. We picked up a baby shower gift for a friend of ours. Picked up a birthday gift for my friends son. We were able to get Aurora a walk in the park before the rain. Played some ACNL and ACNH.

Yesterday was a good day at work. I talked to my boss about taking vacation time next month and he said the week I asked for was open. Me and my mom can now start planning our vacation.

Today was another good day at work just busy . The strawberry festival opened the other day and we are planning to go tomorrow. As long as it doesn’t rain. So excited to go we always have a great time.

Today hasn’t been good mood wise, but I’m happy about a few things; there is still time for it to get better though. I think my medicine might be starting to kick in.

Even though I don’t chat a lot, always nice reading chat on discord and chatting when I can. I’m happy to hear about everyone’s progress, thoughts on the game, talk about the story, speculations (when I can overcome my anxiety and shyness with chatting; I’m very grateful to everyone for their patience with my awkwardness and anxiety ).

I made some more progress on my teapot’s mansion’s interior in Genshin . I got another room almost done and am really happy with it. I’m frustrated that I can’t fit a companion in there or fill it up as much as I want though :/. I also got a small part of my upstairs corridor decorated ; I had trouble initially making the library theme work with the position of the door and the small space but I got it to work. Not sure if I’ll expand the library or really how else to decorate this area or in general; we are given so little options . I know I’ll be using the cat furniture somewhere but not sure how.

I just saw one of my cats in my teapot on a piece of furniture that’s not the cat tower (I never have seen it on any other furniture besides the tower before); it was a bit glitchy, walking through the table . The cats’ meows are so cute . I wish I could pet and hug it .

I finally got all the inazuma remarkable chests . One was evading me for a month or two (whenever I started Inazuma and got to the area). I am so happy since I was really stumped even though I used a guide; the area did not look anything like in the screenshot or video when I went looking for the chest. There was no torch or cook pot; I did read that only a few chests appear and the others show up after server reset after you get some or all of them. Finally got all but the one I was stumped on and two days later; found the chest and the torches and campfire along with the mobs were there. I guess the torches and cook pot only are there when the mobs are there

I need only 21 more chests in a particular part of Fontaine until I get the namecard that I want (still stuck on the tcg namecard which I’m also kinda close to getting; need about 42,000 more coins until I get it). Not sure where I get them since I feel like I’ve been everywhere in Fontaine now and done everything . The funny thing is that I didn’t think I’d like Fontaine this much; initially it was one of the areas I was least interested in.

I finished Yae Miko’s story earlier and I really enjoyed it! It made me laugh a couple times . I do wish we could interact with the quest item and display it (and interact with it in our teapot as well as similar items like it. I love furniture, blueprints and permanent items that can be interacted with, as rewards . I hope there will be a sequel or more to this character story as well as other character stories .

Earlier I also found a remarkable chest in Fontaine that I missed since it wasn’t in the guide; it’s the mini bookshelf that I saw in Neuvillette's office and that I wanted .

Once again posting about my hair, but I decided to keep growing my bangs out after all. I tried to have them down for a week, but that didn’t work too well.

So I’m gonna keep pulling them up with my headband and let them be, but I did go get my longer part of my hair trimmed and it looks sooo much better. The ends aren’t uneven anymore and I think I’ll keep getting it trimmed every once in a while so the bangs eventually get caught up.

Also, started up my Pokémon Violet game today and are excited to play and finish both DLC’s this time. I only did the first part last time and I’m definitely curious on the second part and how it ends.

☾ It’s time for me to be miserable and laid up on the couch for a few days this month, so not much to talk about today, but I did feel up to playing some Minecraft for a little bit! I mined some Ancient Debris to start repairing my Netherite armor (it’s still pretty busted up though ack), got a couple of achievements, and finally found a shipwreck with a buried treasure map!! I did watch a little Youtube with my family this evening too, but I still wasn't feeling well so I slept through a lot of it whoops
