What Are You Listening To?


For those that don’t know, Brand X was a fusion band that featured Genesis drummer Phil Collins playing on several of their albums in the late ‘70s to early ‘80s in between Genesis material. On this song, he sings lead, and the beat itself is incredibly catchy. Take a listen; you may even groove to it.
 
One of the changes I noticed about this song in the remake was that the main synth is made louder, so the guitars don’t overpower it anymore.
