Need something uplifting to cheer me up...
 

From this obscure English prog rock band's sole album released in 1971, this is a nice easygoing song. It's chock full of mellotron (my favorite synthesizer) and also has a nice blend of acoustic and electric guitars throughout. This is basically Moody Blues meets Seals & Crofts.

Two fun facts:
  • Their drummer, Pick Withers, would later become the original drummer for Dire Straits in 1978.
  • A second album was recorded, but went unreleased and became forgotten until the master tapes were rediscovered after the turn of the century by one of the band members. It saw an official release not long after, entitled Spring 2.
