What Are You Listening To?


Bowie fans, does this sound a bit familiar? This was the lead guitarist that rocked out on David Bowie’s ‘72 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. It’s a long title, yes, but it’s considered one of Bowie’s best albums. If you’ve ever listened to that album, you’ll note the glam rock sound it has.

Released a year later, this song is very similar to how some of the Ziggy Stardust tracks sound, as it’s the same guitar used in “Suffragette City”. Also, you’d be surprised how similar Mick Ronson’s vocals sound to Bowie’s.
