If you’re wondering if this band has that Deep Purple sound, you’re pretty accurate. This group, consisting of two Atomic Rooster members and a then-future bass player for Roxy Music, were signed to the Purple Records label (founded by Deep Purple members) in the ‘70s and released only two albums. The band disbanded within two years because they weren’t committed to working together; this was likely due to one of them getting involved in a car accident with a lengthy recovery time. Needless to say, they released some nice hard rock tracks.
