The Bell Tree World Championship 2021 Patch
i think i'm really looking forward to the idea of placing furniture outside! it's a neat little thing that we weren't able to o in the previous games :)

i also like the idea of being able to make your own paths with a new tool, instead of taking up all your design space for paths lol

something else i think is cool but unrealistic is being able to dig up a whole tree and put it in our pockets. i think its funny and really useful (like oh okay im gonna shove this whole damn tree in my pocket along with my shark wardrobe and 8 wilting flowers)

what are you looking forward too? :)

- the HD quality and lovely graphics
- pole vaulting
- placing furniture outside
- fishing and bug catching (i haven’t played ac in over a year and i miss it lol)
- crafting
- trading here on the forums

and i think that’s it? i’m mainly just excited to see all the villagers again :3

ugh there's so much i'm excited about i can't just pick one thing!!

- the graphics look so good and im excited to see them in handheld and on the tv!! acnl had a very interesting style and i'm sad to see it not replicated in acnh, but i'm not complaining with the way they are now
- the new flowers!! they look so good and i've always wanted more wispy looking flowers like the dandelion but in different colors, and now we have the hyacinth and chrysanthemum!! i also really like pansies and the gerbera kinda looks like one so that's more variety for my flowers!!
- the path maker! oh my goodness i loooove natural looking paths in acnl but they're so hard to make and keep up with!! now we can make our own dirt paths (but they aren't as organicly shaped but that's okay!) and i'm gonna die
- the weather. im so excited for rain and thunderstorms you just have no idea. it inspired me to research more about animal crossing weather and i can say im pleasantly intrigued by the way they created the system, i thought it was based on the area you lived in but it would rain when it was sunny so i thought maybe my timezone was wrong or something lol
- the clothing!!! we can actually see shoes now and i've never been so excited in my life. i always want to wear dresses irl but i can never find things i quite like, but all the dresses i've seen in the renders are so beautiful i'm gonna be a total fashionista in animal crossing now
- placing furniture outside ;-; i'm so glad it's a feature that exists and i can guarantee i will get so much use out of it.
- the ability to pick where villagers live. there's nothing more to be said we've already forgotten about what it was like in acnl.

i bet there's more i'm looking forward to but i'm so overwhelmed with the need to play acnh right now i think i need to take a nap or something lmao march 20th can't come quick enough

Definitely placing furniture outside! It was my most desired feature for the game before it was announced. I know I’ll be spending hours upon hours decorating my village. I already have so many ideas floating in my head!

A close second is simply the graphics and being able to play handheld AND on the tv. The moment the Switch was revealed in its announcement direct, my first thought was how cool it’d be to play Animal Crossing on the go and on the big screen!

Too much to list, but I'm looking forward to that fresh start feel a new Animal Crossing game brings. New Leaf had become so dull for me, then they announced the Welcome Amiibo expansion and it brought in some fresh air to the game. But now that fresh air is starting to get very stale and heavy, and I'm craving that fresh air again.

Online play. I made some really great friends in New Leaf. We would spend hours of gameplay just chatting, hitting each other with nets, laughing at everything. Like 2am at a sleepover vibes. I miss that so much.

EDIT: If you ever see Nat from Natly on the forums, let me know, i miss HER

I'm looking forward to placing furniture outside. It will make customizing my town so much easier, and I can't wait to see what everyone else does with their towns.

Is it a shame that HHD spoiled me? I kinda was excited when the game out that you could place stuff willingly outside (along with curtains, half increments, Ceiling objects etc)

But when NH showed Items being put outside and furniture being allowed to move in half increments, I was like “cool HHD mechanics made it in” XD

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy we have more freedom, I just wish I wasn’t so lax about it :p

Honestly, once I finish the tutorial (aka Tom billing me) I’m making (or buying) my tools as soon as possible, first being the vaulting pole, then I’ll talk to villagers that I have (no matter who I get) and then make money (maybe 20k bells is a nice start)

depending on what time my copy gets here really

Playing on TV! Contrary to popular opinion, I loved City Folk because, in my opinion, Animal Crossing is meant to be played on a big screen. It's a game to slow down with, therefore I never understood the appeal of playing it on the go and taking it with you. I like to cuddle up in a big blanket, with a cup of tea, and enjoy the beautiful HD graphics on TV!

I even think about getting a new, bigger OLED TV just for New Horizons... but I've spent way too much money on the game and console already! >_<

I forgot to mention this too! I love playing AC on the big screen. I have good memories of NL but I wasn't a fan of the small screen since I tend to play games on TVs.
But now we get the option to play both which is great!

I'm excited to play AC on my television! Cuddle up with a pot of tea, my game recliner, my blanket, my cat on my lap, and see it on the big screen? Yes please!

I'm also excited for the flowers and clothes. I'm looking forward to seeing the new weather effects. Placing furniture outside. I'm even a bit excited to see how we unlock new things to craft. It is going to be so interesting to see how other people develop their towns. I love visiting people's dream towns, so I am looking forward to that.

Mostly, I'm excited to have a brand new Animal Crossing day and getting it on the day it comes out. I just love the idea of starting a new adventure on the first day it is available.

i'm most looking forward to the excited feeling i only have ever gotten when animal crossing new leaf came out. despite playing many games, no other game has made me as hyped to play as animal crossing. i remember when new leaf came out i would wake up early because i was so excited to get to play that i couldn't fall back asleep. i miss that feeling and i can't wait to feel it again

Aw, I look forward to so much! Firstly, just playing and discovering everything along with everybody else! I only started playing New Leaf 1,5 years ago so I didn't quite discover it along with the rest of the world. I had plenty of resources available, so I think that made it a different experience. A really good one still, but different!

Looking at the game itself, I think I look most forward to:
-The graphics: The game just looks SO good!
-The weather: Thanks to those improved graphics and all the detail.. The weather has looked so beautiful in the previews! I love how the wind is noticeable in the grass and how the rain looks.
-The new flowers: They look so nice and it looks like you'll be able to plant them closer to trees and such, so that'll allow for better decorating!
-The new clothes and accessories: I've seen some really nice new clothing in the images we've already seen, and I'm so excited about the accessories such as the backpacks and cross-body bags!
-New hairstyles: I love changing up my hair in the game, so of course I'm looking forward a lot to discovering the new hairstyles!
-Making paths: While I really have loved using patterns as there are so many really good ones to be found online, I look forward a lot to the ability to make dirt paths as I've always wanted dirt paths but I could never get them to look good.
-Trading: I love trading on the forum so I look forward to opening a little shop once I have the time and resources for it in my game. It'll add a whole extra dimension to the game and to the forum! :)

New stuff! New villagers! Old favourites! HD gorgeous graphics! New stuff! New music!

Looking forward to the weather and holidays more than anything. But I'm also very excited about new furniture items and clothing, and also placing items outside in the town. I cannot wait to decorate my town for different holidays and invite my friends over for parties.
