Mario What color is Toad? (First color that comes to mind when thinking of Toad!)

Without looking it up online, what color is Toad, from Super Mario Bros? Specifically, the colored dots on Toads hat.

There are multiple colors that Toads appear in. I am curious what is the first color you think of, when thinking about Toad.

Red (specifically the one with red spots and a blue vest, not the one with red spots and a red vest. The difference matters). But I think the actual best Toad color is blue or green.

Tbh, I'm the same as Yoshi155. Red Toad with the blue coloured vest comes to mind. But my personal favourite is definitely green. The Toad with the red spots + blue vest is next though.

Red mostly because that’s the one that has been used continuously since Super Mario Bros on the NES. I also remember Toad that way because of the old cartoon series. It is the classic design and most prominent coloration of the species. The Red Toad is pretty much the only Mario character that hasn’t undergone any major visual changes since their debut on the NES.
