Well, here are some of mine:
“You buck-toothed bich!” —Flora
“Hey Big N Tasty” —Drago
“My queen” —Rizzo
“I am the senate!” —Shari, line from Star Wars
“BIG ASSS” —Hamphrey
“Pick up my hemorrhoid pill” —Reneigh
“Thicc mawma” —Norma
And one of the catchphrases is: “shake&bake” like the “shake and bake” saying from “Talladega Nights”.

Well I don't remember what I gave them but I can remember a few of them at the time:

"Sup Dude"- Louie
"Hey man" - Raymond
"Hello there"- Molly

Yeah pretty generic but I couldn't think of much.

A lot of my villagers have generic greetings like 'Oy' or 'Hiya', but I have a few unique ones that I'm proud of.

Annalisa and Pango both say 'Tu~tu~ru' which is a greeting from the anime Steins;Gate.
Naomi says 'Domo' which can be used as a greeting in Japan among other things.
Anicotti says 'Squee' or 'Squeakers'.
Some of my more stylish villagers like Diva have greetings like 'Darling'.
And Colton's catchphrase is 'Of course' like Mister Ed.

Love these lol. A bit off-topic but the other day I saw a photo of the guy who voiced Mister Ed (Allan Lane) and he was really handsome…like, it’s surprising that was his best known role lol.

Sometimes I like to have them say things to me in my native language, since it’s not included in the choices. Not that I would choose it as a language to play in tbh because English is a way easier language to play games in, but, I still think it’s cool to have them say certain greeting words/greetings in my language/dialect.

im really bad at picking out catchphrase so I just try to go with something cute-ish sounding lol

bianca - snowy
lolly - lollipop
freya - darling
filbert - starry
etc...

I'm the Queen! - Queenie
The Post's here - Skye
And a few more...
What d'ya want? - Anicotti
Y'all are crazy - Static
Talk to the abs. - Lyman
Can I... kiss you? - O'Hare
In terms of catchphrases, I changed O'Hare's catchphrase to "novio". Put that into Google Translate (Spanish --> English).

I always have no idea what to make the villagers say. I just hope they don’t ask me to come up with something, or else I’ll end up making them say “GKG!” It’s a hockey related phrase, meaning “Go, Kings, Go!” I absolutely love hockey but it still feels out of place having them say that every time. I need to be more creative.

I try to make them related to their namesake, inspiration, or species. I also do this for catchphrases. It’s a little worse as catchphrases because villagers that it doesn’t really fit for get the catchphrase (like a dog villager would say meow).

I once did catchphrases like “on a balloon” similar to how jvgsjeff (my favorite AC YouTuber and AC blogger) does the phrase.

I’d say about 2 years ago, I made my villagers say something negative about one of my teachers. A couple months after, I found it embarrassing and had Isabelle wash their mouths out with soap.

i kind of prefer to have my homies keep their original catchphrases. greetings-wise, quinn says 'jat-se' (no particular words that i wanted quinn to say were coming to me at the time). i don't remember if i've got my villagers to say other stuff but for the most part i back out whenever a villager says they want to change up something

I can't really do custom greetings without sounding too cringy, so I keep those as generic as possible because I'm boring. When it comes to catchphrases I remember giving, however, I've been a bit more creative...

Bob: pancake, bleh (only lasted a week), yee yee, banana (later stolen by Poncho and I liked better)
Coco: truffle, oingoboingo (I'm surprised that one actually fit)
Mallary: peachy
Cherry: yep yep
Tom: man (first one I gave to him, stuck with it ever since)
Lopez: dude
Poncho: banana

There's probably many other ones I've done and forgot about. Lost to the sands of time. Oh well, maybe it's best that those remain forgotten.
