What Did You Accomplish In Your Town Today?

I reset a town I had on my cart already (don't remember making it) and started a new one! I'm planning to play it concurrently with my ACNH island.
My starting villagers are Robin, Tom, Vesta, Jeremiah and Felicity and my town fruit is peaches!
There was a shovel in the shop so I got a lot of money quickly (I don't wanna start donating fossils to the museum until about a month or so in, cause I wanna be able to get Bells quicker).

agh same. in the past i would have started donating right away, but i'm not in a rush for now. and your starting villagers are awesome—i love having two of the same species!

today i logged on in the morning feeling inspired by the valentines event! so i made a heart garden w pink & purple flowers where i had a heart stump before making my valentines party submission ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀

i didn’t play all day after that, but i got on just a bit ago, shopped & sold some stuff, then made sure to buy from leif so i stay on track to getting the silver watering can!

i also did some work on lining out where i want my dirt paths w some flowers : )

I finally got my house! It's totally full of furniture now. Yesterday I just had a robo-closet and the Blue Falcon, but today I got:

• An exotic bench that Tom put up for sale
• A peacock chair from shaking trees
• A beach table and a tropical vista wall I ordered from Gulliver's RV yesterday
• A plaza tile floor that Jeremiah gave to me
• A balloon lamp from hitting down a present balloon with my net (since I don't have the slingshot yet)

and that's just the stuff that I had room for in my house

Robin gave me a weird-looking clock and sold me the turntable in her house, I got the balloon wall from another balloon, I forget who but someone gave me a playroom wall and I got a sandbag from shaking another tree. I also bought myself the good-fortune clothes from Able Sisters since they didn't have any dresses and I liked it better than my default shirt.

In non-item-related news, I changed my town tune to the same one as my New Horizons island (the first few seconds of When I Was Absent From School) and I made my town flag a Poke Ball since I don't have the QR scanner, it's the simplest reference design I know and, hey, I named my town after a Pokemon city (Levincia) so why wouldn't I make it a Poke Ball???

Also, Pashmina is moving in tomorrow (not Katt or Fuchsia sadly but eh she's still like my favourite big sister villager that isn't either of them) and I started donating to the museum! I donated a pill bug, a wasp and a bagworm. (You really don't get many bugs in the winter, huh... Totally unrealistic XD I hope I can get the fishing rod soon so I have more to donate.) Redd also came to town but idk if any of the paintings he had are legit so I haven't bought anything from him yet.

okay so I checked Nookipedia to see what the forgeries in New Leaf are and one of the paintings in Redd's gallery today (the wistful painting) has a super obvious forgery in that game so I knew the one he was selling was real. I actually never bought any art in any of my old saves bc I didn't know what the forgeries looked like (also because i didnt rlly care abt the museum) so this is my first time buying art in NL!

I was watching a video about New Leaf, and I found out that there's some tasks Isabelle has you do after she gives you the stationery where you can give her a seashell and catch three different bugs or fish and she'll give you non-native fruit, a watering can and let you buy the tool you don't have, so I did them! It also meant I could get a ton of fish and donate them all to Blathers. The fruit she gave me was cherries, which funnily enough are the native fruit on my ACNH island!
I'm regretting selling the perfect peach.

Not much happened yesterday, so I didn't post that day.
Today, I unlocked Tortimer Island, so I spent most of my time there fishing and catching bugs (both for my museum and to sell, which ended up getting me a LOT of bells... I think, like, 130k or something). I paid off both my current loan and a public works project I had (the yellow bench lol, I put it near a cliff cause that's where I had one in my first save) because of that! And I'm STILL richer than where I started. (Even if I did vastly underestimate the sell price of emperor butterflies...)

I almost forgot to mention but I got my first Gulliver visit as well!! His destination was Greece, which is apparently one of only two destinations that gives you clothes in this game... YAY FOR CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION
(speaking of, I got a jester mask, a red ribbon and a red polka-dot skirt that combined with the shirt I had makes me kinda look like some sort of D-list Batman villain but it's okay. I also got the Link shirt from the fortune cookie today, which I put in my house after getting the ribbon/mask/skirt. If I can get bottoms that go with it and maybe the hero's cap as well I'll probably put it back on though.)

I opened the museum gift shop, acquired all of Dr Shrunk's signatures, chopped down the trees that were in the way of my paths (and replanted them), and I hope to hop on the boat to Tortimer Island and catch some bugs later! I have a few bells sitting around, so I'm considering whether to save them for the Roost's construction, or pay off my crippling debt.

Lately I have been trying to make new pink roses for my park area but it's so tedious and hard?? I water my flowers everyday with my silver watering can and I'm lucky if I get a pink rose a week.

Today I finally unlocked sable's sewing machine so I scanned a QR code pack of the agrabah palace from Aladdin (since my town is named Agrabah). It made my plaza area look super cute, but my main problem is the fact that my picnic set is uneven and doesn't correlate to my flower arch. No matter what position I stand to ask Isabelle in, it never looks straight so now I'm debating removing it for the third time (fml) and just adding a garden to that area, but idk. My biggest gripe with NL is the way PWP"s often align with eachother the way you want them to. Ugh.

I gave Puck a white tuxedo suit from Gracie Grace for his b-day but he didn't even put it on lol..
