In New Leaf, I had a town called Orion for a while, and I didn't want to carry it over to New Horizons, partially because I feel like I've exhausted the name. I did want to keep the celestial-ish theme, though! I fought with naming it Stardust for a while, but eventually landed on it!

I named mine Moga Isle. The name is from Monster Hunter.

My New Leaf town was called Pokke, which was also from Monster Hunter. it is tradition for me at this point.

Larimar! I wanted a more "general" island name that can fit any kind of theme I'd come up with, since I'm still not sure how I'm planning on building it. I named it after a very pretty gemstone that looks like the ocean waves! I also just really like rocks, and naming some old towns in New Leaf has gotten me in the habit of doing that :>
