What do you do with your beaches?

Right now they're just a place for my player/villager houses and stores to rest while I have my layout of my island a bit more worked out. I do plan on making one part of a beach a mini amusement park to coincide with my boardwalk. But my rep's house is in the way, so I can't do it right now.

I plan on a little bar, spots for sunbathing or sitting, fishing spots, and maybe a dancing thing on a rock.
I keep my beaches pretty clear for the most part and I always have some coconuts around.
Clear beaches make it easier to get clams for bait.

I have a tropical bar on one part of the beach another area is a broken pirate ship. I also have a poolside beach area with a diving cliff.

my island's a bit rough currently since i'm reworking some stuff (and trying to get more pink flowers www,) but here's what i've done with mine. nothing too crazy, frankly

Mine is very unfinished, but I have some shell furniture in one area and part of my amusement park area is on the beach, as well as part of this kind of zen garden / bamboo thing, and part of the play park. Basically just whatever area is near the beach, I extend onto the beach. I plan on making a stargazing area with nova lights etc and also an area with some of the fruity furniture too

i don’t really decorate them so most of the time they’re used for flower storage or a place to move buildings while i’m changing layouts up.

I tried to decorate my beaches with flowers and a bunch of normal beach items, like towels, beach balls, umbrellas, etc. I find it an awkward space to decorate because of how narrow some parts are, but I did my best. XD

I can give you some inspiration on what not to do, haha. These are some beach areas as they are now, but I'm planning to get rid of it all and redo the island. Again. I want the beach to be more for like, fishing and stuff. Maybe...

The villager on the beach is claudia. I don't really like her (snooty!), so I just put her on the beach, thinking she'd ask to move. But of course, she loves the beach.

Thx. I think they just feel awkward to move around. And it's not really beachy, like it covers the beach? I've gotten some new inspiration for town design, and I think more natural beaches will fit better. But claudia can just stay on the beach.

The most creative thing I have on the beach is a little laundromat cafe. I also have a strawberry bakery, a large cozy seating area, and some areas just decorated with shell lamps and fountains. I also moved some houses to the beach temporarily while I terraform my island, but I never did finish that.

I use my beaches to store my turnips when I stock up on them XD

I use my beaches for long walks in the sunset and horseback riding on white horses with luscious manes. Followed by piña coladas with our toes in the sand. Afterwards, frolicking in the waves, with the water up to our knees and writing our initials in the sand... ....aaaand kick some sand castles down on our way out and pour shampoo on people's heads as they rinse their hair out at the fountains nearby, hehehehe...

Here's a picture of one of the areas on the beach.

Other areas: An outdoor Japanese restaurant which leads to one of my other character's home (which is also on beach), Pine trees in many areas to make it look more of a forest than beach. My campsite is sitting on it with a mini fish market and newspaper/ magazine stall next to it.

i've only ever decorated the little beach by where redd comes in, but i decorated it to be a little date area for my boyfriend and i ^_^ i wanna do more with my beaches, just not sure what
