What do you use tbt for?

Whatever I see fit. Mostly villagers I really want or if I need some quick in-game Bells, although I will rarely trade for in-game Bells.

Usually I end up getting in game bells though sometimes I do tend to buy villagers or items. I've occasionally considered saving up for a game code or something but I've never really seen anything I wanted.

I've only been here since March, so I don't fully understand their worth. I got a cute collectable for my account though.

I see other people trading them for in game goods which seems like a simpler and cleaner way of trading. Since tbt are valuable to others, I want to save up and buy some hard to get international/dlc items for acnl from sellers.

I use mine for buying my dreamies, my signature, and hard to get in game items and items I need to catalogue. When I have enough, I will probably trade for some in game bells. I'm low right now because of buying a million pink flowers and Marina
