I have always been so intrigued by how other play this game...As in when I am just playing during the week and only popping into my town to do daily tasks it's usually just at my desk after a night of study. But on the weekend? Wow does the weekend get it's own set up!

I usually set up in bed (lots of space) with my console, laptop (with TBT, discord + a few wiki's open. Right now it's one about hybrid flowers and The Roost Cafe), coffee and my gaming journal to write down things I need to remember (like villagers birthdays).

Oh and I don't listen to music when I play ACNL...Just the games sound on full volume.

Questions
+ What do you like to have with you when you play?
+ Do you listen to music or just the game?
+ What are you currently working towards in your town?

- i play wherever and whenever, so i usually only have my phone around so i can check the forum or search things up- your setup sounds so ideal tho!! i'm jealous maybe i should plan my own setup to make playing feel even more legit
- i listen to the game music, mostly, but i also tend to multitask a lot, so sometimes when i'm just doing routine-y stuff on acnl, i'm watching a show and turn down my game music to listen to what i'm watching
- i'm working on getting all my dreamies! i'm a huge hoarder, so i'm hoarding a ton of hybrids on my beaches, and i'm just itching to be able to place them. problem is, i have some villagers who i'm waiting on to move out so their houses and get out of my way hahaha. i'm also working on my 2nd character's house! it's an onsen, and i'm slowly paying off my house loans for her so she can finally finally complete it! even though i'm not yet done with my 2nd house, i'm thinking of making a 3rd character already to build a magic school :)

i'm intrigued by your gaming journal... how does it work?

I love playing when I can fully get involved. It's so relaxing. I also love playing in coffee shops but I do find I can be distracted by what's going on around me as well.

My gaming journal is just a notebook that I use to log where I am up to/goals so I don't forget. I play a lot of games where it's semi-open in what you do (like Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, Pokemon to some extent, and of course New Leaf). I'll keep a log of what I am currently doing in the game or information that is handy to be able to read without needing to google, like info on flowers or what's needed to unlock PWP's etc. It's super hand for things like recipes in SOS or what's needed to evolve certain Pokemon for eg the Eeveelutions.

It all came about after I hadn't played Story of Seasons in MONTHS and I had forgotten what I was doing in game. So after I worked it all our again, I wrote it down.

Oh! and I also use it to list all my games and I mark off when I finish them.

I generally play with my iPad next to me and a drink of some kind. I'm a mom and also have a full-time job, so sometimes I'm kind of off and on a lot doing various other things.
