What is the best US State for food?

probably not Ohio lol, people rave abt Cincinnati chili but I've tried it at a Skyline literally right outside of Cincy (Mason OH) and it was so gross 😂

I'd say maybe Pennsylvania. They've got a lot of good stuff there including philly cheesesteaks, other subs, good gelato shops, nice pizza places, and more. That's just my personal opinion though based on the states and nations I've visited.

I'd say Texas but I may be biased because I've been here my entire life lol.

But heyyyyy we got the good stuff over yonder

Texas does have the best grocery store chain in America. That, I can say for sure.

For me, I would say Louisiana has the best food. Texas is also good because of the mix of Latin American and Southern cultures. In terms of fast food, California has the best fast food chains.

I was in Ohio once for about 60 minutes and ate at a Denny's.

I've never been back to Ohio.

It was pretty great though.

Denny's is a cultural icon lol that's where you find a lot of interesting people at 3am
Oh no, not 3 am (when ACNH has its worst hourly soundtrack)!

There’s a Denny’s in my home town too. I prefer regional chains (like Whataburger, In-N-Out, and Taco Cabana) over national chains (like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Taco Bell).

Traditional food? Maybe somewhere in the south would be my guess.

I doo feel like alot of american food kinda blends together between the states except for 2 or 3 dishes that are iconic to each particular state... That or I'm just really ignorant of food by state.

In my honest opinion.. although biased, since I've never been to all 50 states, so I can't really have a solid opinion.
I want to say Boston, Massachusetts. There's a food market in the city called 'Quincy Market' in Faneuil Hall, that has soooo many different varieties of food from all sorts of cultures. I really enjoy the diversity.
But I also just love clam chowder and lobster mac and cheese too much so xD
Boston, MA it is!

I was born in the south so I'm obviously a bit biased but we got a lot of good food down here. It's kinda hard to name my favorite though.

*Knock knock* Hey cousin, it's Waffle House! lmao

I'm not sure about states. I feel like maybe a long time ago that had some truth to it, but I feel like so many states are so modernized anymore that what you can get in one state is about the same in another.

Connecticut has some darn good pizza, I must say. Otherwise, though, I do quite miss quite a few restaurants from the south.
