I don’t think there is any super fast way to make tbt. It is a hard slog for most of us. You just need to join in conversations, sell stuff? It’s not easy for most of us but slowly and surely you make a bit. Enter competitions and do trades. Raymond is a lot to ask but look at the villager giveaway section. Good luck 💜

personally the easiest way that I make tbt is by participating in forum events and getting collectibles and later selling or trading them. though I'm okay with trading cause I only use tbt for collectibles, you could always just sell the ones you get.

Posting is the more consistent way but if you're good at art, you can get commissions for a pretty penny. Either that or selling items too, though that said, a lot of prices for NH items has went down due to low demand lately.

No spamming, but contribution counts. So, replying and posting, creating threads, browsing etc.

Browsing doesn't earn you any tbt. Only some forums give you tbt and each one has a different rate on how much a post is worth. And some of cap out after a certain number of words. For example, island journals only give you tbt for the first post that day

Posting a lot on threads I guess (minus the Basement) or you could try tbt market placing if you have any collectibles. I don't have any cool collectibles but some people on here sell there collectibles for tbt and you could try that.
(And if you dont have any I can try to buy it for you but no promises)

The fastest non-luck driven way is through selling what you win and buy using event currency. It is super easy to participate and earn this special currency as the moderators make the qualification goals super easy to achieve. Winning collectibles from staff-hosted contests is usually a lot harder as it requires much more skill or you to get lucky enough to win a raffle prize, but the payoff is usually very high compared to what you get from simply participating in events (you can't always sell staff-granted winnings also). The downside here is there aren't always staff-hosted events happening and even when there are, you usually can't get anything until later on when the currency is actually handed out by the staff and/or staff favorite prizes are divvied out.

The fastest way but also the way that requires the most luck is to win player-hosted giveaways for collectibles or TBT where the host does not care about what you do with your winnings. Of course the downside here is you usually have a very low chance to come out with any prize at all, but on the bright side, it is very easy to find a no entry cost giveaway. There are other kinds of giveaways found on this site that are much less luck-based (Guess my favorite... with unlimited guesses, "be post # _ to win" giveaway, etc.) but these giveaways usually have some tight competition and have a greater time commitment to them.

The most consistent way but also very slow is through making long posts or replies like this one, but it requires a lot of thinking. There is also setting up a custom art shop which is always pretty popular and can bring a steady stream of TBT, but only if you are skilled at digital or even drawn art.

Imo, the most fun ways of earning TBT is through selling video game items with Animal Crossing being the most popular. If you do go down this route, do bear in mind that the event and non-reorderable items are usually the most popular. In-game items that have to be grinded for like Nook Miles tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can also be pretty popular as well. No matter what items you decide to sell, customers can still show up only sparingly.
There is another form of Animal Crossing trading known as villager trading. Some villagers go for pretty high amounts, so it might be in your best interest to see if you have any high-tier villagers in your town. Even if you don't have any popular villagers right now you can still find one within your campsite.
Time Travel (TT) does help tremendously in accumulating a big stock to sell.

Besides selling AC items, you can also offer in-game service through towns dedicated to it. For example, there is an achievement players can earn in New Leaf for pulling up so many weeds. It is possible to set up a town for the sole purpose of TTing and setting up weeds for players to pull and then charging a good amount of TBT to allow players to pull several hundred weeds.

Imo, one of the best ways to earn tbt through Animal Crossing is by purchasing an Animal Crossing game when it first comes out and then quickly time-traveling to grab as many non-reorderable and event-exclusive items as you can and be the one of the first to open up shop to sell them off. Time traveling for reorderable items can work to I would imagine since people are less likely to have a good collection when the game had just came out.

If you play Pokemon, rare Pokemon like legendary, mythicals, shinies, events, etc. can give 100 tbt +, but customers may not show up very fast.

I hope I helped

I make a good amount replying to threads. Joining in conversations that you are interested in helps best since you can easily reply with more than one sentence, or better yet more than one paragraph. I learned that its the length of your posts that really matter not so much the amount, so I would avoid the basement section of the forums and stick to Brewster's cafe if you are hoping to earn more tbt.

I think participate events to earn collectibles and then selling them off for TBT is probably the fastest way to go; That said, the Christmas event collectibles have depreciated so much that some people have started to give them away for free. The egg hunt collectible seems to perserve their values well into the future though, so you can definitely amass some fortune pretty quickly by selling if you are not too attached to them.

Otherwise, set up shops (in game trading or art), but that requires quite a bit of efforts and time outside of being active on the forum. I personally cannot do that so I just try to post to threads. If your replies are long enough, you get up to 10 TBT per post (caveat is you have to actually have something meaningful to say); some sections of the forum like animal crossing new horizons give you more TBTs per words than Brewster cafe, or basement, which you earn 0 TBT by posting there
