WHAT is this growing?

This is behind one of my palm trees on the beach.

It's not near any weeds, and in the sand.

It can't be picked.

Haven't tried a shovel yet, as I'm curious as to what it is!

It looks like cosmos sprouts, but it'd definitely a growing flower of some kind.

It's right behind the coconut palm.

I can't pick it, and don't want to use a shovel just yet.

Hm, maybe somebody accidentally planted it when playing in your town?

If you don't have other players on your island or don't play with other people, then maybe you accidentally planted it a long time ago and just realized?

Nope, nobody has been there, and I haven't planted anything.

I'm going to dig it up and see what it is.

Since it was behind a tree maybe its been there a very long time and thats why you cant place it?

I don't plant white windflowers, and I've changed the order of my palms many times.
I'd notice.

I tried incorporating them into my mermaid area on my last island. They won't grow where they are at. You will have to move them if you want to see them grow. I think they look really cool in the sand. I can't remember what flower they are.

My wife's character was planting windflowers to make crowns or something, not really close to the beach, but she said there was one missing.

Ok. Mystery solved.

As for seaweed, I just use seaweed.

That's a seedling silly. You can actually use em for "weeds" on the beach. They never grow so you can use any stage of any flowers life cycle.
