My least favourite is summer, hands down. I'm always miserable during the summer and just counting down the days until it's fall, basically. I find the temperatures to be uncomfortably warm (especially when my house doesn't have proper AC and my room is upstairs
), I don't like the bugs (so. many. mosqutio. bites.), and my neighbours love to set off fireworks and have obnoxious fires in the summer. I also can't swim and don't really enjoy being by the water so it's not even like I can enjoy the beach or whatever in the summertime either.
My favourite is a toss up between fall and winter, with winter
maybe getting a slight edge because I love Christmas so much. I love the colours of fall, I feel more comfortable and cozy when I'm able to wear longs sleeves, jeans, tights with my dresses/skirts, coats, etc. I can bake cookies and whatnot more comfortably in the fall because the house is cooler. The little bugs are all starting to go away which is wonderful and when I'm working with kids fall is a really lovely time of year because we're all getting to know each other (although that's a double edged sword because the first bit of school can also be tricky for learning transitions and routines!!) and Halloween is fun to celebrate with them and just in general I enjoy celebrating Halloween.
Winter is probably my absolute favourite. Every year I always get to excited when it snows for the first time, all the cozy clothes are still there (although okay - winter coats aren't the best), I can still do all my indoor hobbies easily, and I love decorating for Christmas. It is a little sad how early the sun goes down - I wish it would stay out longer because I love getting to see the snow! And once the holidays are over and everybody has put away their lights it's
so dark. But I love December and January.
