Spring and Summer bring out insects and they both feature bothersome storms, heat, and humidity that's frankly uncomfortable and annoying, so Autumn's cooler temperatures are appreciated. I love seeing the leaves change to their various different colors, and it's also nice to have the fallen ones lying around when taking a walk. Speaking of walks, few things compare for me to a nice walk on a foggy Autumn morning.
I'm more inclined toward being a night owl, so I like it getting darker earlier in Autumn and Winter. As such, I'm disappointed with the government's decision to make Daylight Savings Time permanent. Alas.
Halloween is my favorite day of the year and takes place in October, which is my favorite month. My birthday is the following month, in November. Between that and how close all that is to Christmas in December, most of the events I most look forward to are in the latter half of the year. I enjoy having pumpkin food and drinks in Autumn because it enhances my enjoyment of the season, which is a phenomenon I don't really have for the other seasons of the year (other than, like, cocoa in Winter and maybe Christmas cookies or something).
Autumn, of all the seasons, just feels like home to me.
Winter is in second place because of Christmas and New Years and, while it sucks to drive on and ice is terrible, I love how snow looks. I also tolerate cold better than heat and have better solutions to warm up as opposed to cooling off, so yeah.
Winter is my favorite because I admire the snow and Christmas, although it's inconvenient for drivers. I also like sledding a lot, and I have many childhood memories of playing outdoors in the snow with other kids. Plus I enjoy wrapping myself in a warm blanket, and this helps me to accommodate with the cold. The only thing I don't like about Winter is when it gets darker earlier in the evenings. It's a lovely season
Autumn is my second favorite because I admire the changing colors of leaves. I also like Halloween, especially as a child when I used to carve and decorate pumpkins. I also like the cooler temperatures very much during Autumn. It's very relaxing
I also like Spring for the cherry blossoms and flowers that bloom during this season. Personally, I don't understand how a normal person can enjoy being outdoors when the temperature is above 90 degrees during Summer. The heat is so sickening and I hate it when I sweat a lot, it feels gross. Of course, it's nice to have picnics with my family, but only when it's moderately warm outside with a nice breeze.
Fall is one of my favorites, I enjoy watching the trees turning colors for the changing of the season and one of the things I'm going to miss not seeing since I don't see many trees here in Vegas. Winter is a close second when you see snow in the mountains
I like fall the best because the temperature is mild and cold enough for sweaters and hoodies, great events like Halloween and Thanksgiving to celebrate, and seasonal foods that you can't get any other time of year.
Other seasons are good too but each has something to it. Winter is usually very very busy, where I live spring can be practically winter and summer alternating without mixing (even snow happened in April too) , and summer is tornado season with storms usually being pretty bad.
I love the fall (autumn) since the bugs have begun to slumber (no more mosquito bites for me please!!) and the weather gets cooler where I live! I love cardigan and boots with long jeans and a thin, long sleeve shirt or t-shirt and Fall is just the best time of year to rock this look where I am.
Plus as a kid, I loved tossing piles of leaves around or jumping into them. As an adult, the most I do is try to step on a particularly crunchy looking leaf and enjoy the satisfaction of finding the juiciest crunch. Ya know, just the small, happy things in life!
Second favorite is winter since there are zero bugs (absolutely no mosquitoes at all!) and snow! I suck at driving in the snow but there's something so satisfying about waking up to see the tree branches decorated with white... I get hot extremely easily so being able to wear a onesie and fuzzy socks and duck into my covers and be just toasty enough without soaking my clothes with sweat is soooooo underrated it's not even funny lol.
Autumn, I love September when the weather starts to get cooler (I hate the heat ), and there's nothing better than sitting inside and watching the leaves falling from the trees with a hot chocolate and marshmallows. Also, love walking in amongst the leaves!
It changes, and I've probably written a different answer somewhere else, but at the moment I'd say spring! It's not too cold and not too warm, and everything is green and the plants and flowers are blooming.
My username literally starts with Vernal, so take a wild guess lol :3
But for real I love spring soooo much! I love flowers, rain showers, pastel colors, bunnies, and other things typically associated and found spring! And just the smell of warmer air after a cold winter makes my heart soar ^^ (I absolutely despise winter since it’s cold, dark and barren where I live)!
i flip flop on my opinion all the time but it's definitely a tie between summer and autumn. autumn aesthetics cannot be beat and i am a big sucker for PSL and all things warm toned, but summer is SO FUN. i love having many hours of daylight.
the only reason i like winter is because of the holiday season, i celebrate both hannukah and christmas due to both sides of my family being different cultures, so its a busy time around december and i adore it. but it doesnt last long enough then it's dreary. surprisingly, i hate spring. i love flowers and rain, but i absolutely cannot stand thunderstorms and tornadoes because i just have a huge crippling fear of them, like fetal position and sob for hours if anyone mentions tornado warnings. so i don't like spring.
I've always loved the fall! The beautiful change in the leaves, the crunch they make when you walk on them, the cooler weather, the smell of smoke from the fireplaces, hot chocolate and pumpkin spice, the decorations for Halloween, and I just I love wearing autumn attire! I love the idea of having bon fires with friends and telling scary stories around that time too! Spooky season is my favorite but I may be a bit biased because of being born on Halloween lol
Spring! I love it because all the flowers and trees come back alive and its not too hot or cold! Its pretty and green as well!! Spring has always been my favorite except for pollen! I sneeze soo much and am allergic so my eyes hurt so only bad thing!
autumn - many TV shows have new series that start which is always pretty groovesters, also the fact that it's cold enough to light fires- + the leaves changing colour is coolio. also spoopy season
winter - gift-giving + one's birthday happens during winter + also big fat quiz of the year + various TV show specials are a thing near the holidays hehe
