Tfw nobody has voted Austria yet and it's the only option without votes... I wonder if people even know anything about Austria nowadays. 😂
It's a country I'd love to see! Mainly Vienna, it seems beautiful, and some of their museums are top notch. (Big museum guy here, the main one I want to see in the world is the Louvre in Paris, France)

New York, LA, California; America has lots of fun places with merchandise stores. I remember this M&M shop with M&M statues and figurines in New York. It's amazingly unique. Plus, Hollywood movie premieres!

Japan, because it's the land of anime, but also because, having seen quite a bit of the culture in anime, I find it quite unique and interesting.

I love travelling and have quite a long list of places I'd really like to visit but one of the top destinations I'd like to travel to is Japan. There are so many places around the country I'd like to see, particularly Kyoto, Tokyo, Okinawa (or really any of the southern islands, I'm not really a beach person but they look too stunning not to see) and Hiroshima (I've always loved studying world history and have long wanted to visit here, as well as Nagasaki if I could fit them both into my trip, to visit Miyajima but mostly as a poignant reminder of the awful tragedy many suffered and to pay respects at the Peace Memorial Park). Honestly there are so many more places around Japan that I'd love to visit as I find the rich culture and history of the country really interesting but these would probably be my top choices.

Other then Japan I'd also like to visit many other countries around Asia (it's a continent I've never travelled to so there are so many places I'd still love to see) mainly Singapore, Thailand, Vetnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and Hong Kong (my dad grew up between the last two destinations, as well as Peru which is another destination I'd like to visit, so I'd be really interested in seeing the places he spent his childhood).

Outside of Asia I'd love to travel to St Lucia (I've been to quite a few beautiful places in the Caribbean but this is the main place I've not seen that I'd really like to visit) as well as Hawaii and Alaska, there are quite a few States I'd love to visit but these would be my top two choices, very different to each other but both look like fascinating places with beautiful scenery.

Closer to home there are many European cities that I'd really like to travel to, particularly Rome (I did have a holiday booked last year but was cancelled for obvious reasons), Budapest (another place I intended to visit last year), Vienna and Copenhagen. These are the top cities on my travel list but really there are a lot of others I'd love to see too.

Traveling is super expensive and I've never left the east cost tbh. Though, partner & I have talked about eloping somewhere instead of doing a traditional wedding. We have been thinking about a week/2week long excursion across Europe and hit as many countries as we can. I've been wanting to visit Spain & France for such a long time now. Going through Amsterdam would be soooo much fun lmao. I've never been on a plane tho so big scary reacts.

I'd also love to backpack across south and east asia but that would also take a lot of money & time off from work. Maybe someday though?

I've always wanted to go to Japan!
and my family is from Scotland, so I think it'd be nice to visit there <3

There are so many places I would love to visit! Some of those include, Japan, Switzerland, France, New Zealand, Thailand, Nepal, Egypt, and Antarctica (not really a country though). There are so many fascinating, interesting, and wonderful places in the world, I can't begin to list them all!

I'm a sucker for tropical climates, I just think white sands and warm blue waters are the definition of vacation for me. I live in the Pacific Northwest so around here it's all rocky gravel beaches, cold green water, and gray skies. Don't get me wrong I love where I live, but sometimes you just want to chill on the beach with an umbrella drink and go ocean swimming without turning blue.
I would also love to visit Japan because the culture is so intriguing to me from the traditional festivals to the modern anime and video game culture. Germany would be cool to visit because my family migrated to the US from there and I don't have a strong connection with my heritage. A few others that would be amazing the UK, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, and Australia.

Though I hate crowds so travel is very stressful for me in general
You got me at white sands and warm blue waters. That sounds an absolutely perfect holiday 🥺😍

I am lucky as I live in Scotland with the most breathtaking scenery but sadly not the weather 😂 I would like to go back to Ireland as that is where my mums side of the family come from. I have been to Belfast and Dublin but would like to see where my family came from. My dads side were Scotland afaik but I think I have connection to Canada and I would love to visit someday. Always been a dream of mine 💜

Top 5 Places

1. Japan - I want not only go here on vacation, I want to work here for a period of time. Get to know the country inside out. Its been my dream destination since I was a child. Japan has it all. Beautiful snowy mountains of Hokkaido, beautiful beaches of Okinawa and beautiful historical cities like Kyoto and Nara.

2. Greece - As someone who loved reading about ancient history, the mythology and the philosophers of Athens this is a dream destination. I also love the Mediterranean beaches, the crystal clear waters and the beautiful white Greek cities.

3. Argentina/Antarctica - I live in South America and I've been to Argentina...I just want to go to Antarctica...at least once before everything else. Speaking of Argentina though, I havent been to Patagonia/Tierra del Fuego so I think that would do that if Antarctica is only a dream.

4. Ecuador/Galapagos - I've already been to Ecuador. Just not the Galapagos.

5. Egypt - I know its not very safe but I want to visit the Pyramids.

Anywhere in Western Europe is probably my number one choice. I'd just love to see all of the museums and architecture. I adore Western European historical architecture. Also, I'm a history nerd, and a music history nerd on top of that. France, Germany, Austria, Italy, England... Home to so much Early Music and Classical music I adore. I'd actually be able to find like stores that sell replicas of historical woodwind instruments. I'd be in heaven. (even moreso if I had money lol)

I'd also love to visit Greece, because as I said before I'm a history nerd. One or more of the Scandinavian countries and Canada would be next on the list. You might not be able to get me to come back if I go to Canada. Lol. Also Greenland. I would love to see Greenland. Scandinavia/Canada/Greenland would be great during the Spring and Summer when I get depressed.

i would love to go everywhere but i would love to live in japan someday and learn their language of course and i would visit london, south korea, and some states in the us i honestly don't know where but maybe new York or cali :)

The 4 places I'd like to visit for sure at some point are Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, and South Korea. Definitely have always wanted to visit these places C:

I'm going to randomly interject here and mention that I've been really wanting to go to New Zealand lately. Uruguay also seems like a cool country to visit, and it's near Brazil and Argentina, two South American countries already plan to visit in the future.

I would love to go to Japan but the air travel is long and expensive. I hate flying. And it would be hard for me to save up enough money. Europe is cheaper and I've been there but I don't know if I'll go back. I'd like to see Paris, though, if I could find cheap air fare and a deal on a hotel.

I've been to New York City a few times and love it.

New York was fun. I went there in 2011 and visited the Nintendo Store. I recall them having a ton of Mario and Pokémon merchandise. I was so excited to find a Bowser plush for a reasonable price. Now that I’m an adult and into different things, I’d just like to check out the New York Port Authority bus terminal. It’s funny how things change.

A mix between busy cities & quiet nature. I love lively cities with lots of people, shops, bars & restaurants and just wander around taking it all in and getting lost BUT it's nice to also leave the busy streets now and then and go explore in the nature or visit smaller villages with the locals. That's also the reason why I like to make most of my vacations a roadtrip because when renting a car I can just go wherever whenever I want.

I'm amazed that I've been to all these places except China and Austria. China is definitely on my bucket list. I highly recommend Japan, as there's something for everybody and it's very accessible, though obviously pandemic time is a terrible time to travel.

I would love to visit Scotland and meet many of my friends on this forum (I would ping them, but i don't know if they want it publicized).

Australia / NZ would also be cool, if only the plane ride wasn't so long. I am terrible at sleeping on planes, and as I get older, sitting for long periods is worse.

My favorite part of traveling is experiencing food and nature. Big city life is alright, but living in a top 10 most populated city during all my moves means I am less impressed by the crowds and skyscrapers. My sister likes to mock me for taking a bazillion photos of mountains and water features, while her camera roll is full of selfies and group photos. Both are nice souvenirs.

I need to hang up the artwork from my travels, ty for reminding me...

My favorite destinations so far:
  • Kyoto or Nara, Japan
  • Santorini, Greece
  • Barcelona, Spain
  • Montréal and Vancouver, Canada (opposite sides, I know)
  • New York, USA (yes, big city, but damn good food and easy to travel)
  • Bruges, Belgium (so much chocolate)
Places that I didn't enjoy as much as I expected:
  • Paris, France
  • Vegas and Reno and LA, USA
  • Vietnam
  • Cancun, Mexico
  • Jamaica
  • Maui, Hawaii, USA
Places i want to visit outside US:
  • China,
  • Korea
  • Scotland
  • Austria
  • Puerto Rico
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Baltic countries
Places I want to visit inside US:
  • Portland, Oregon;
  • New Orleans, Louisiana
  • WASHINGTON DC
  • Yellowstone national park
  • Disneyworld, because why not

I have a few places I'd LOVE to travel to!

First one being St. Petersburg, Russia. Ever since I was young, I had such a fascination with Russian culture and the country in itself. I love the language, it's sooo pretty to me. I love the accents, the food, and my favorite 'sightseeing' spot in Russia would be St. Basil's Cathedral. It's sooo abstract to me! I've always wanted to see it in person.

Second one probably being somewhere in Japan. Not picky about where, but I think visiting Tokyo would be nice! Besides being intrigued by Russia, Japanese culture has been another one of my interests as well! I love the city, I think I'd thrive in a place like Tokyo! The street food, the mini gachapon machines and stuff! I'm obsessed with those!

Third and final, probably South Korea. I've always wanted to go to an Asian convenience store mainly because I've seen that they're very different than the ones in the United States! The Starbucks' in Asian countries also have really cute novelty cups, compared to the ones they sell in the States T^T I would really love to travel there and get one in person rather than purchasing them online!

As a runner-up, I'd say maybe Germany or perhaps Estonia!
