What is your native flower?

I just reset my town because I hate seeing mums and of course a different town center location.


Has any had roses or hyacinths for their starter? If so what hemisphere?

i had roses, northern hemisphere. i dont think hemisphere affects which flower u get; it seems to just be random, like native fruit. but i havent researched that or anything, just my guess.

I’m trying to get either of those right now and I just keep getting mums or pansies. Hahaha I have reset probably 10 times now.

I am in the northern hemisphere and have hyacinths and have been able to plants tulips and pansies. No roses yet. I did find a rare tulip island with a nook miles ticket.

My native flower are pansies. I've restarted twice due to varying reasons. First save file had windflowers, second island had tulips.

I'm in northern hemisphere, if that matters.

I believe the native flower is random like native fruits. My friends and I, all norther hemisphere, have gotten lilies, roses, and pansies, so it seems to be random, haha

Cosmos. I "beat" the game and started terraforming but am indeed considering resetting my entire town just to get lilies as you can't unlock more then 3 flowers on the mystery islands and in nooks store. Definitely make sure you're happy with your flower before continuing the game.

Honestly, it definitely promotes visiting other people's towns more since you can buy them from others and grow more.

I dont enjoy visiting other people to trade constantly, it gives me anxiety and I hate typing on the switch. It's the same thing for the designated object colors too. Not a fan of this push for online play personally at all. Flowers take way too long to grow by themselves and i'd like to be able to buy them in my own store when I need

Typing is a lot easier with a USB keyboard plugged into your Switch dock. I have severe anxiety disorders, so interacting with people is really difficult for me, but you get use to it after a while. Definitely know how you feel.

I have mums and didn't even know about native flowers. I probably would've resetted for roses. But I like the look of mums so I'm good. The only yning I didn't like was how hard was to find people to trade for roses. They're either raere ot I don't knoe but at least I found very sweet people in thr fandom who let me in their towns to purchase seeds.

if you are able to see it, your native flower is the one on the cliffs of your island. If you don't have access to cross the river, you might be able to see it a little bit from afar if you are able to get close enough

Windflowers it seems. Though, Tom Nook handed me red mums when I first started? Suppose it’s windflowers though. Shop sells a variety of flowers.

Exactly same here. Even though the island I found was hyacinths in blue, Orange and pink. Wish I had bigger pockets

Edit: Ah I also got white and orange (yellow?) windflowers from Nooks Cranny
