Terraforming? Sick. Being able to move any houses and buildings? Sweet.

But seeing tHE MUSEUM??

Priceless. 💯✔️🔥

That won my heart. I’ve always loved collecting fishes, bugs, fossils etc. and donating it to Blathers for the flavor text or his reactions. I fell in love with the interior design on top of the thematic museum background music it plays depending on which section you visit.

Blathers probably has the most personality out of any character in the game, the museum is amazing.

For me it was pure and simple dedication to the series, I've been playing it for years so wouldn't want to miss out on this one.

I don't actually love New Horizons that much.

because it's an animal crossing game.
I've played all of them aside from amiibo festival (since I didn't have a wii u lol) so it wasn't even a question of "will I get it or not?" it was more of a question of "how hyped for this game can I possibly get?"

Same as probably most people; it’s an Animal Crossing game and there’s no better selling point than that, especially as someone who has played every mainline game. Of course all the new features just made me want it even more. The wait for this game felt like an eternity and I’m so happy I have it now. I just wish I could relive the moment of starting it up the first time again.

I just had to since I’ve been playing the series for years and I need to play the most updated version of the game on a current updated console. :)

I played Animal Crossing: Wild World, and I’ve been a big fan of the game since then. It was a new main AC game, and I knew I was going to buy it either way. But the new improved graphics, new features make my heart happy.

Honestly COVID-19. I was on the fence about getting ACNH because I wasn't sure if I wanted spend a lot of my free time on another Animal Crossing game, but in the near future I don't have to worry about ACNH destroying my social life because that's already happening.

I've played since around 2006 I think? so I was always gonna get the game. I was so so excited when they announced that there was a game in the works. I bought a switch like 3 years before the game actually released haha

To be honest, i nearly never bought new horizons and was going to cancel my pre-order (i was in a pretty dark place at the time) but luckily i didn't. I mainly bought new horizons not just because i love the franchise but because after losing my mum back in 2012 (a fellow animal crossing wild world player), it would be a great way to honour her memory.
