I have changed my major about five different times. I am a junior in college now, and I have finally settled on the thing that I’m going to stick with. I am double majoring in Russian studies and History, particularly focusing on Russian and military history. My minor is computer science. I have thought about a psychology major, then a business one, then a theatre one, and then briefly an equine science one. And while I have enough credits to be a “junior” in college, I do not have enough to graduate alongside the rest of my junior classmates, since all majors require different things.
The only reason my college career has been such a disaster was because I felt pressured to jump immediately into college from high school. If you don’t know what you want to do for sure, do not let the rhetoric that they preach pressure you into spending loads of money on a degree you’ll end up 180’ing on within the first few semesters. It is COMPLETELY acceptable to take a year or so to figure yourself out before you enter that stage of your life.
i kinda wanna do computer game design like my friend is. i don't really have any plans for the future but i thought a job related to that might be something i'd like! i also kinda wanted to do a web design minor but my friend said that would be too much work with the major :B
My major was medical science. I dropped it on the halfway from mental incapability at the time. Then I majored computing afterwards, such as system engineering and such, found it my calling.
I'm planning on majoring in animation. I'm really lucky because usually only art schools offer it, and I probably couldn't afford to go to one. But, a local liberal arts university offers it. One gripe I have is that it's focused on 3D, and being the internet dweller I am, of course I prefer 2D. But, hopefully I'll be able to make it over the line one day.
