What Makes A villager your favorite? And whats your dreamies?

Genji is my favorite because his smile makes me happy.

Peanut, Blaire, Ribbot and Static are the animals I want as they where in my CF town from the beginning. They're my. Favourite because I spent so much time getting to know their character individually, running errands for them and such. I just grew to love them. I currently only have peanut in my town and plan on working for the others.

I tend to choose my favorites after they come to my town, I only really had one dreamie upon starting the game.


Kiki was my one dreamie and has been my favorite since AC:GC, she's so cute. So happy I got her in NL!
Fell in love with Skye when she moved in as one of my first ten. She is NEVER leaving!

Merengue was a starter and while she may not stay FOREVER I do really love her.

My one dreamie I would say I have now is Ribbot. He has been in all my towns and is my favorite villager after Kiki and Skye. I also want Octavian but wouldn't say he's a dreamie

Even before I was introduced to ACNL forums and the concept of "dreamies", I stumbled across Fauna and I instantly wanted her in my town. She's one of my favourite animal species and her simple design was utterly charming.

I usually like whoever catches my eye, but I do try to make sure I don't have a big imbalance of personalities.


I currently have everyone I really wanted thanks to TBT and my campsite !

Am i the only one that HATES how cookie looks?!?!

I hate Cookie on all accounts, including looks. I'm just not a big fan of the pink villagers (except Flora and Vladimir).

I love all the personalities. So, I hate to say it, but mainly my dreamies are based off of their looks. Either that, or if I had them in an old ACCF or ACPG town and they bring me nostalgia so to me they become valuable.
My dreamies are (currently, I change my mind a lot, so..): Ed, Olivia, and Big Top. Ed because he was in my original starters in my first ACCF game ever and he was my absolute favorite. Olivia because she was in my original ACPG town. And Big Top because I've ALWAYS loved him and have wanted him in my town but I've never had him before. ;w;

And I have a soft spot for Normal and Jock villagers, Uchi looks fantabulous, And I don't like many Peppies.

I became ridiculously attached to Kabuki from the first moment I began playing Animal Crossing back in '02. All of my starter villagers were pretty plain (some were even discontinued), but Kabuki was my boy. When I found out that villager trading was a thing in NL, I knew I had to have him, and I swear I will ragequit if I ever lose him.

I think, for a lot of the veteran players, that it's the same. Some of our favorite characters are the ones to which we have a nostalgic attachment from previous games.

I like each of my villagers ('cept Curt) because I just do. I also don't have a specific list of villagers I like; I just let them move in and see what I get! I was lucky enough to like most of my villagers that I started with/the ones that moved in.

beau is my favorite just cause he's so cute. his design and his personality just make him perfect. Alfonso is my second favorite just because i've played with him throughout the series and he's just a little cutie as well. I also loved him in the movie.

My dreamies are Beau (who i have again yay), alfonso, diana, fauna, melba, maple, and kitt

My favorite villager is Melba She was in both my AC:WW towns and I grew very attached to her, and liked everything about her: her cute appearance, sweet personality, candy-themed wallpaper and carpet, cozy mix of cabin and green furniture, K.K. Ragtime playing on her jukebox, catchphrase "toasty," the unique way she sang a town tune, and so on. I don't have this same attachment and love of many other AC villagers. With others, I often just like their appearance (or their tastes in decorating), but don't have an emotional connection with them.

In New Leaf I'm planning on basing most of my dream neighbors on what the exterior of their houses looks like. I really want the houses in my town to match fairly well; it bugs me having mis-matched/unappealing houses. But houses aside, the neighbors I've picked are also ones I'd love to have in my town. The ones I still need are: Pango, Gloria, Rod, Bunnie, Erik, Julian, Bruce, Paula

I didn't get all the hype about Merengue at first, or why everyone and their pet chicken seemed to be looking for her. But the more I looked at her, and read about her, the more I love her! She's now one of my dreamies, even though she'd be my third Normal villager! (Oh well, more Fairytale PWPs for me!)

When i was scrolling down the list of AC villagers, I fell in love with Merengue and Punchy, among others. The other dreamies I had on that initial list have been changed, but these two are forever going to be in my town <3
