What on earth is the windmill? xD

I'm genuinely confused what the windmill item is supposed to be. I honestly can't tell how that weird little structure could mill anything? Does anyone know what it is? I've only seen one of those things once and that was in the 3rd Back to the Future movie lol

You mean like these? They don't 'mill' anything but generate energy using wind. They're quite common where I come from (Netherlands).

Oh, I didn't know we had those! Well the idea is the same. It uses wind to generate energy... to do something you attach it to. It can mill but I think they were mostly used to push water?

Hahaha. Look in the middle of the frame, there's usually a set of gears/pipe-thing. You can even see it in the AC-item. That goes up and down (so it can mill, or pump). The wooden frame is just for support.

I've seen them around where I live out in the country. I don't know exactly what their purpose is. I have heard things like it keeps moles away but I don't know if that is actually true. I just know alot of country people have them.
