Not many people know this about me but I am a HUGE 80s movie fan. My parents wanted us to watch the movies from their time and I love all of them. My vote goes to:
Ghostbusters
Back to the Future
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure
(I just saw that you posted, but nevertheless I just wanted to post-vote lmao)

If you are taking suggestions or want more movies to watch after you visit your family, one imy favorite movie by FAR is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It’s literally the greatest thing I’ve ever seen, and I love it to pieces! I also really love The Princess Bride, it’s really good and a classic. I’ve watched 60+ 80s movies and movie series, and here’s a list of all the ones I thought were really good.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
The Princess Bride
Trading Places
Coming to America
A League of Their Own (I was a Rockford Peach for Halloween a while back!)
Clue (‘85)
All the Indian Jones ones except Temple Of Doom (just yuck. no thanks.)
Wild Wild West
The Wedding Singer

I’m really happy that you are going to see your family, I hope you have a really good time! All of these movies are really good, and I think you won’t be disappointed.

so these are the final results:

I honestly don't know how I don't have Ghostbusters on VHS. actually, after looking at my collection I've realized how few 80s movies I actually own. looks like it's about time to make another trip to the thrift store to find some VHS tapes!

so this will be a good way to spend my time while I'm waiting to go on my trip this coming Friday. I'm really excited to go and if I'm just gonna be counting down the days I might as well find something fun to do with that time. Thanks to everyone who voted, I always have a tough time figuring out which order I should watch a series of moves in lol :p

I actually do have a few of these movies, including Indiana Jones 1 & 3 and Stand By Me. I've seen Amadeus before, and you'd think cause I'm a music major I would enjoy it but tbh I kinda didn't lol.

Loving the VHS! xD I actually liked Amadeus.
