What packages are you waiting for?

I’m still waiting for the American Eagle oversized sweatshirts and now I’m also waiting for a set of grey soft velvety bedding. I can’t wait to make my bed cozy for the colder months.

I'm also waiting for a piece of artwork I commissioned as a very special gift for my boyfriend for this Christmas. That one is going to be several weeks as it's coming from overseas. I really hope he likes it. I've never done anything like this before so I am a little nervous about it.

I love getting packages, I always have. Side note: a long time ago I used to write to people overseas. I found this program that matched pen pals to each other and we wrote physical letters back and forth. It was so much fun. I made really cool friends out of it and we would send each other gifts and stuff. I really miss doing that. Maybe with COVID having pen pals, or maybe writing letters with existing friends, would be a fun way to get more of a connection with people that we can't see in person right now. Hmmm....

I love the idea of pen pals. Last year I got obsessed with the Youtube/IG bullet journal craze and I bought so much stationery and stickers and pens that I’m not using at all lol. Having pen pals would be a good way to put that stuff to use since lord knows I’m never going to be a bullet journal (or any type of journal) person haha.
 
Currently waiting for my usual box from Chewy.com (with a few added treats for Christmas) for my feline overlords.

I am huge into the pen pal thing, but haven't been able to find one, as I have lots of adorable stationary and stickers/small gifts etc. to share. I would love a penpal again! <3
 
Well...I always have things on pre-order and backorder, tbh...so I probably have more than I could begin to even remember. And at least a few games that I backed on Kickstarter, which are still in the development process.

Is there like a penpal service you guys go to to find one? I've been wanting to get a penpal for years but have never really known how to go about it.

I ordered Taylor Swift's new album on vinyl when it came out, and it looks like people are starting to receive theirs, so I'm hoping it'll arrive sometime this week in time for my birthday!
 
Currently waiting for my pre order of the merry plush on Etsy. The wait has me so nervous and excited at the same time! Also will probably be waiting for a lot more packages the closer it gets to after thanksgiving, that’s when i usually start my Christmas shopping every year. This year I will definitely stick to online shopping only.

Actually there are a couple of 'Safe' Penpal sites (can I list them here, is that ok?) and I have tried one for Animal Crossing where they match you with the age appropriate person etc, but I have yet to get anyone who actually responds. One person did respond very very late and was going through real life things so I totally understand. It is tough to find one that will respond though, I've found in my personal limited online experiences. <3
 
I'm markedly upset at myself for spending money like this but I have around 5 packages coming...
2 packages with clothes
1 with candy
2 with music albums

I'm trying my best at my work but it just really isn't what I want to be doing, so I feel like it makes me want to spend more money on myself.
 
I'm waiting for two plushies from Durarara and the one character's knife keychain. I can't wait!! >w<
 
For my university, a group of us decided to do an early Secret Santa exchange, but I have no idea what will be in my package-- I just sent one out today, and it's full of little goodies such as mud masks/nail polish/chocolate/etc. Putting together little gifts is really fun.

I'm thinking I should order a new phone case, because my current one is incredibly crusty and dented from being left on the floor at my work. I also might order a backpack for when I'm eventually able to move onto campus... but with the COVID situation, that probably won't be for a while. Sigh.
 
i'm waiting on a moomin package (they had a save the sea collab that was rly cute) and also a package from tofu cute which contains a few things for chirstmas (and a few things for me) and also some tights from snag, all of these for my mum's stocking that i'm putting together 🥺

I got the jewelry I was waiting on. They are very pretty, and I hope my friends like them. I noticed that the chains have small spring clasps, which aren't the easiest to manage (one of my friends has RA), so I went back and ordered some magnetic clasps to match. I'll attach them before gifting. Got a couple for myself, as well.

The DNA kit is on the way, and I have ordered a couple more things for myself and the kitties: Art Academy Pokemon (3DS) cartridge, Obama's new book, a new pair of indoor/outdoor slippers for work (if I wear my boots in, I can't keep them on all day, so these will be nice - they look like slip-ons or loafers), and 2 candles from Frostbeard Studios - Christmas at the Burrow and Christmas in the Great Hall. For the kitties, I got a new litter box (sexy, I know), only because I couldn't find one large enough in the stores nearby.

I still have to pick up a flat-bottomed wok for my sister and her husband, but then I'll be done with holiday shopping. I'll probably pick up a few stocking stuffer items, just in case someone not on the list pops up, but it's pretty much all over except the wrapping.
 
i recently just ordered a bunch of stickers for my laptop and an animal crossing gardening kit all from Etsy. Waiting for all of them to arrive. The gardening kit would probably be the last to arrive but i hope it arrives quick. I can't wait to get it! They're all for myself this christmas.
 
ordered some pins and a set of three pokemon cards (vaporeon, jolteon and flareon) for my wall off of ebay. also ordered a celeste pin for my girlfriend that's going to her address. should all arrive before the end of the week, hopefully.
 
After months of delays, my Dazai figure from Bungo Stray Dogs is on the way. Excited for it to arrive even though I don't have space for it right now. 😅

I recently ordered a few Christmas gifts as well that have shipped including a pair of golf gloves, some books, and a 'Boomstick Trio.' I have no knowledge of what this is, but apparently, it's a hot item right now and my mom had it on her wish list.
 
I’m waiting for my Tiny Chef. He was supposed to ship early November but now it’s mid-December.
 
i'm most likely about to win an auction on a 2nd hand switch lite w animal crossing (idk if it's a great idea to buy 2nd hand but it's like $100 cheaper and theyre saying it's in "new condition" ehhh so i mean...) so i guess i will soon be waiting for that???
aside from that i haven't bought anything recently so i'm not waiting for anything. that being said, i should start thinking about getting some books for my courses next year, i would prefer to buy second hand since it's cheaper and i hate spending thousands (in sek) on university literature
