What part of the animal crossing community is the most horrifying/cursed?

Generally animal crossing as a community is no where near as bad as some other communities out there on the internet.

But I have seen some nasty stuff on deviantart involving animal crossing characters and especially Isabelle
for example I once saw a picture that greatly disturbed me with a redead tickling Isabelle's human feet.

I have also read some animal crossing creepy pastas and some of them were quite disturbing.

What would you say are the most cursed parts of this community to never visit at all from what you have experienced/seen?.

I honestly don’t mind NSFW art as long as it’s not violent, though I can see others being bothered by it considering the game’s audience and overall innocence.

I joined an Animal Crossing related forum ~elsewhere on the internet~ and one of the most cursed things I've seen is how people take it so seriously it genuinely affects their mood and they proclaim how they're gonna boycott Nintendo or something like... chill out it's just a game :')) I guess you get people like that in every ""fandom"" though, but yes I find those kinds of people to be cursed, because I just Can't Relate

I would say the Animal Crossing Community is overall enjoyable and not as bad as other communities where I was part of it for a while. Of course over the time, I saw here and there some salty fans and weird things, but you find these also in other communities. It's something you can't really prevent that they exist and if you don't like this (like I wouldn't also enjoy it seeing NSFW pics of Isabelle playing with human feet or dealing with grumpy fans that can't accept other fans opinions) then just ignore it, that's what I do at least...

CT crowd is definitely a blight on the in game experience, with hacking used for trolling purposes, non-PG rping, harassment and general non-friendliness.

Outside of the game, I think the Isabelle fans that came from Smash are disgusting the majority of time. NSFW posted all over discord channels, lots of illegal and immoral art featured amongst it. :/ Not that that should be surprising, if you know anything about the people in competitive smash.... so many come out with cases on their person.

I don't think super serious players are THAT bad, but I've also never been in an argument with one, so can't really say. I think negative people, in any community that's built on something positive and uplifting, are annoying to deal with though.

Every time I see BEAUTIFUL Katrina tattoos with the "Remember that bad times are just times that are bad" quote, there's always a wave of negative people complaining about how overdone it is, and how they can't understand why people enjoy that quote. I think "Other people enjoy this so I hate it" types are annoying af, but AC has a lot of teenagers in the community, and lots are in that phase of their life.

I think the most cursed Animal Crossing fan art was Isabelle being drawn as rather, let's say inappropriately. Also some theories about the game really ruin the innocent nature of the game, in particular the one about how the game is set in purgatory.

I think "Other people enjoy this so I hate it" types are annoying af, but AC has a lot of teenagers in the community, and lots are in that phase of their life.

this! i adore those tattoos and the quote! i think people just don't like it because they can't understand it. if they did, they wouldn't be saying mean things about it.

but anyways... the worst one parts just has to be.... fetish art. i don't like seeing my favorite villagers have weird stuff happen to them. the fan theory part is scary too, as casualwheezer said. some are scary and kinda ruin the happy nature of the game.

In my experience (with almost every fan community I've tried to join) the fan art is probably the most cursed aspect. Sexual pictures of Isabelle or Ankha are disgusting and sick. I've seen all to many of those- simply from trying to find some cute designs.

As for disturbing, I think the strange, twisted theories people come up with just to ruin an innocent game experience (e.g. You aren't really moving to an animal town: YoU'rE aCtUaLlY dEaD) are pretty weird. The horror towns are even worse. I applaud the creativity, thought, and time put into them- but still...'why did you think of that'?

I haven't come across creepy pastas or whatever. But the most disturbing thing is these AC videos that claim all the NPCs have unearthly 'backstories' that seem completely irrelevant to a game primarily made as family friendly..
