This is why I can never delete my island, the amazing Densle has shown us what actually happens to the villagers when we reset…

For those who don’t know, this is the second to last in his ACNH Maskboi series.

The villagers are up in arms after all the things Maskboi has done to them like messing with time, rudely demanding recipe diys, hitting them with nets…they can’t take it anymore,

Densle is AMAZING! I've been following his work for a long time now and his AC animation series really gave me a different perspective to the game. The storytelling, music and cinematography is so top notch.

I randomly came across his other AC animations last year or maybe in 2020. They're all pretty funny. It's always great to find another good quality AC animation. So many talented people making funny or serious stories.

I should clarify I could never delete my island now, but in my first AC game Wild World I deleted twice and regretted it, vowed to never do it again.

Then for NH I wanted Dom so I reset 9 times at the start, and still didn’t get him. I just can’t reset now that I love most of my villagers, some of which given by friends.

Also have hit some villagers with nets and def time travelled.

@themysterybidder Pietro has def been through a lot, love him standing up to Maskboi, Densle is an amazing storyteller!

Just like after watching Evil Imp’s Dom, I can never un-hear his eerie cry lol.

I liked this series but don't feel guilty about resetting. I'm on my third Pookytopia but most of my villagers have stayed the same. I also treat them nice (except when they get in front of me while terraforming.) I like to think they are the same villagers as before just recreated. The ones I don't keep just get reborn on someone else's island. That's my headcanon. I'm not a monster like Maskboi, right?

xjsnxxjdo i’ve never seen one of densle’s animations before or even heard of him, but this was awesome! equal parts eerie, sad and beautiful. i love my island too much to ever reset it, but i know this’ll be the first thing i think of if the thought ever does cross my mind one day. i think i might just have to watch the rest of his animations now!

also, tom nook calling isabelle “kiddo” was unexpectedly wholesome, and i can’t get over how cute everyone looked in their rain gear haha.

Omg that was amazing the graphics and just wow but my boy Pietro I had to stop shortly after that.

Wow! That was a really cool short. It really felt like that it came from an Animal Crossing film. I liked how Tom Nook and Isabelle take a more protagonsitic role and we see from the villager's perspective of an annoying AC player, in this case, "MaskBoy". MaskBoy doesn't value AC friendships and has no worries about reseting their world. Even though MaskBoy is takes the villainous role, it really does make me think of the times that I also hit some villagers with the net because I didn't like them. It also lets us look at how the villagers view time travel and teraforming, which is pretty neat. It makes me look at my current AC situation now that I have a new Switch. My current island is in transfer limbo and I'm sure all my villagers aee wondering where I am

I saw this thread and was just about to post this haha

I like to think it kinda goes down this way but less evil and scary... The video was heartbreaking and Densle knows it. Maybe what they last do becomes a trance until they reset fully... Yeah, I like that better.
