What set should I go for?

I've realized all sets but one - my gorgeous set - follows a fairytale theme. So which fairytale set should I use to replace it
So far I have
The ice set upstairs
Rococo set in the back room
Regal set customized to be pink in the living room
Mush set to the side
Princess to the other side
And then the basement is what I need

I personally REALLY enjoy my sweets, lovely and mermaid sets. Mermaid is a definite favorite of mine and I'm so proud of it because it's one that I actually got piece by piece from the island. It took a bit, but was definitely worth it. Your gorgeous set could be in the basement and not effect anything for the HHA because the basement doesn't count! Sorry if you already knew that lol

I have seriously no idea. It confuses me just as much because all mine match PLUS some extra stuff and my exterior was even all mermaid at one point.

Get all the prizes without a theme first. The last one should be the golden house model.
Than ask Lyle to join the theme challenge. Add all fairytale to the exterior and your score will be very high.
Go thru your house and make sure all the extra items are fairytale. Dress the mannequins in fairytale clothing. Items on the floor that can go on a table need to be picked up. Make sure everything is facing the right way. Remove anything that isn't in season. Fish or bug. Display pictures of villager that live in your town only. You can place the moveouts in the basement. You should get a million or more points after adding the exterior and joining the theme.

Haha I never planned to pay off my final
Home loan. Okay. I did. Nook told me Lyle would congratulate me. He just asked about me wanting to know my home grade again. I'm in my house now and he's not there. Will he show

Drop by their town and ask to buy it before your Nook store closes. That town will say no but will transfer it to your Nook Store. Go back to your town and it should be there to buy. Once he closes it's too late. Good way to get the exterior done fast.

Sorry to continue bothering you but -
Basically, if I have the entire set then some additional things such as the gold house model and stuff, it'd LOWER my score rather than raise if?

Those things are fine.
When you start the theme challenge you'll wins some new prizes. If you use one of the new prizes it will lower your fairytale score.
Once you unlock one of the theme challenge prizes you might like it. Tip wait until you earn all the theme challenge prizes before you use them. Make sure to use them all in one day because it will lower your fairytale theme. Check online for what the prizes are.

I did the theme challenge and got the high score. Than I stopped and went back to no theme challenge. With rustic there isn't a full kitchen or bathroom. Not sure why the game didn't release a set for each theme.
