What should I do with nook miles before resetting?

I'm resetting my town tomorrow morning. If you wanna know why lol you can read one of my threads:

But the main question is: I have 36,430 nook miles. What should I do with them to benefit me in my new town?

you can purchase any nook mile items you like or even nmt and ask someone trustworthy to hold on it for you until you're settled into your new town! then once you're ready to go search for new villagers on the island, you already the tickets so you won't have to grind as hard for them

I agree, buy a ton of NMT and then ask a friend you TRUST to hold them. Then, once you reset, you can travel to tons of islands to collect tons of building materials.

what everyone else is saying, buy lots of nook miles tickets! that’s what i did with the roughly 25k i had in miles. it helped when it came to resource gathering and villager hunting later on!

Before buying NMT, buy any nook mile items you can order in colours that you like. The ones you can buy are almost certain to be a different colour this time around, so having those items to hand in the correct colours will be a big help. That was, you don't have to waste more nook miles buying these items to trade with players for your correct colours after you reset.

Then buy as many NMT tickets as possible, and spend whatever you have after that on bell vouchers for a bit of a financial boost.

Then find someone trustworthy and get them to hold all of this for you while you reset.

OMG why didn't I think of that...(I don't have any friends) but I had over 20K miles on my first run (day 5). Oh well.
