My wii mote is not working.I changed the batteries and it still dont work.Can somebody tell me what is wrong.

I thought it needed a cable anyway it's......<big><big><big><big><big>Alive!</big></big></big>
The sync stuff is the red button in the battery compartment of the wiimote, and on the wii near the SD card slot (you need t open a thing on the front).
