Pokémon What types will have the final evolutions of the new Starters?

So Gen 8 is on it's way and with that we got new Starter Pokemon. It will probably take a while till we will see their evolutions and what types they will have. So until we get the informations to this, we can speculate what types their evolutions will have. So yeah, what do you think?

I've seen already lots of people who say that Scorbunny becomes another Fire/Fight Pokemon, just because of the bandage on it's nose? I think that's not a hint at all. I could imagine that it's final evolution could become Fire/Electric. Grookey could become Grass/Ground and Sobble looks for me like Water/Ghost. I mean, these are just my thoughs to this.

I think Sobble is likely to become a Ghost type. It seems to coincide with its ability to disappear in water. Dark might also be a possibility but since Greninja exists I'm not sure whether they would want another Water/Dark.

I don't think Grookey is going to become a Ground-type. It seems to be fairly arboreal (it scaled an entire building) so Ground doesn't seem to suit that. Though I don't know what will happen in its evolution so I really have no idea.

I hope Scorbunny doesn't become another Fire/Fighting type. Though at this point I'm going to expect the worst until we get more information. I don't think the fact it runs on gears is proof that it would become a Steel-type, but I think there could be an interesting possibility with that typing. They could have a molten metal theme which would fit with the game's title. It would also mean the final evolution still retains the speediness of Scorbunny.

Of course, there's also the possibility of one of them staying a pure starter type. Though they do seem to like making duel-type starters as of late (the last single types were in Gen 5).

Sobble, I’m predicting, will become a water/ghost type.

Grookey, I’m not sure. Can’t tell right now.

Scorbunny, I actually thought it would be cool as a fire/ground type. You have Bunnelby in generation six which was a normal type, although I’m pretty sure no one would have guessed it becoming a normal/ground type when it becomes Diggersby. Scorbunny could follow the same sort of logic and grow bigger ears for digging, except as a fire/ground type. The ears could even have flames coming off of them when fully evolved as well. We haven’t seen the evolutions yet, so I think it’s entirely possible this could happen.

I would love it if Sobble was a Ghost Type and Water Type at the final stage.

Since we already have three fire/fighting starters, the fighting type is the last type I would want Scorbunny to be. But a Fire and Ground type would be interesting.

Grookey could be a fighting type or a dark type at the final form.

I mean, I see what you did there, but then again, it would be a nice plot twist if they don't get any second types at all and just stay fire/water/grass. Like people breaking their heads what the second types of them could be but then boom: No second types at all.

I like the idea of Sobble being a water/ghost pokemon. The fact that he's timid as well makes that idea even more adorable~
Grookey, I had an idea that it might be grass/rock type? I dunno just a thought.
I like the idea that Scorbunny could be fire/electric. Those things on it's nose and feet dont look like banages, it looks like material you use to strike a match on, which could also be for electric too maybe? Either way I find it more important noticing its on the feet as well as the nose.

Either way we haven't had a whole set of starters with two types so we shall see~

Grookey: Grass / Fighting - I'm thinking he's gonna evolve into a gorilla looking like thing
Sobble: Water / Psychic or Dragon - I'm thinking it'll be one of these 2 possibly since it can disappear, so maybe it has some psychic abilities but it also is a lizard so maybe a dragon
Scorbunny: Fire / Ground Not sure why just seems like it might be a thing

This bunch is weird in a way that, it could be such a wide variety of type combinations and they could be unexpected like the Gen 7 starters (e.g. Decidueye is Grass/Ghost which NO ONE PREDICTED)

For Grookey, it could have a myriad of different combinations depending on the route its taken. He could be Grass/Fighting if they want to take a Passimian-esk route, Grass/Normal just based on its actions in the Direct by making noise with odjects (Stretching this one but the Whismur line is where i get this inspiration from), or he could be Grass/Rock which is a rare and interesting type combinations. If i remember correctly the Lileep line is currently the only Grass/Rock line.

Scorbunny is another wild card because from its first impressions, you think Fire/Fighting, which happened with Incineroar when it first leaked but then it turned out to be Fire/Dark. I personally think we could be seeing our first Fire/Fairy Pokemon firstly due to the sheer lack of Fairy types currently, but also since bunnies are often seen as soft and cute creatures with some fairy-tale representation such as something like Alice in Wonderland.

Sobble could be the most clear of the bunch. When I first saw Sobble, I immediately thought Water/Dragon. We have seen past reptile-based Pokemon become Dragons, and Sobble could be a great addition to that, eespecially with the unique combo nullifying some common weaknesses to Water such as Electric types. The other idea I had was Water/Ghost purely based on its Chameleon characteristics.
