What Was Your Favourite Event/Aspect of Season of Giving 2024?

What was your favourite thing about the Season of Giving event?

My favourite things were sending out Christmas lights, the pizza party, and honestly I can't choose between the rest so I made the amount of boxes you can choose unlimited, because all the events were amazing and all of them can be your favourite.

I didn't really participate in a lot of the events, but I enjoyed the ones I did, and looking through the ones I didn't. The whole thing in general was lovely, especially since this is my first event to be in on TBT!

I’ve been pretty much burnt out this entire year so I only participated in just enough events to get 5 gifts. However, I definitely had fun! Mistreil’s Santa Search was so cute and I really enjoyed figuring out where the codes were. The advent calendar is a yearly favorite for me and I always look forward to seeing what’s behind each door, plus the Holiday Candy Cane was stunning! I’ve been severely lacking for TBT so Whack the Jingle came in very handy, and it felt nice to take from that greedy Bell hoarder lol. And of course, the new collectibles were all winners this year. I can tell I’ll be playing around to find lineups that fit them for a long time to come.

I would say I enjoyed everything apart from 'Myths of Merriment', I couldn't get into that one at all!

A lot of the events were fun.

I think I'd have to say my favorite this time was Secret Stocking Stuffers. While I agree to an extent with those who felt uncomfortable with the concept and, as of early this year probably would've related to that sentiment, I've since been interacting more with at least some of the members on here through the unofficial TBT Among Us sessions. As such, it was fun coming up with ideas for what gifts to give. It was heartwarming to see how much people appreciated the gesture of people making Christmas stockings for them once they were revealed, and I'm happy that my chosen recipient, Dunquixote, liked what I made for them!

I really love Myths of Merriment. Unfortunately, due to my pre-Christmas schedule being busy, my written portion was kind of rushed (but still fun to come up with) and I didn't have enough time to submit my drawn portion despite drawing it. But as a concept and seeing it in action from other people's contributions? Love it.

I look forward to the TBT Advent Calendar every December; the anticipation of seeing what will be revealed each day, the cute Animal Crossing holiday music, and the reveal of the year's new Candy Cane collectible. This year's Rainbow Candy Cane is awesome!

Love Jingle's Wondrous Workshop since interior design is my favorite aspect of the Animal Crossing series; a lot of other entries were way better than mine, but hey, it's still fun to put together anyway!

Santa Search was fun! It's always appreciated when Mistreil makes a game for us.

Was too busy to make a Gingerbread Monstrosity and couldn't really think of what to make for it anyway, but I love that concept a lot too.

Had a concept in mind for Season's Greetings but not enough time to draw it. Oh well, Pietro knows I love him anyway.

The swapping gifts aspect is always fun and it's great that our efforts go toward donations to various charities.

Also, shoutout to all of the collectibles this Christmas, they're all great! The pizza, too, was a nice surprise!

Overall, while my schedule was packed, I had a great time participating!

I always look forward to getting my hopes up for the 12 Days of Collectibles.

I loved the whole season of giving, but my favorite parts was giving out lights, trading gifts, stocking stuffers and season’s greeting.

I enjoyed trading gifts with everyone; I also loved the messages everyone put on the gifts they sent me. I really loved that everyone’s efforts went to charities too!

Stocking stuffers - I loved so much; I’m incredibly touched by all the stockings that were drawn for me. I really wanted to do extras but the greeting card, some mental health problems at the start and getting stumped a few times on my entries got in the way.

Normally acnh room decorating activities would be my favorite but this time Season’s Greeting would be my favorite activity. I had so much fun drawing for this one. I thought I bit off more than I could chew but I was happy I was able to finish my entry. It was a challenging project and honestly was a bit overwhelming but it was a good challenge, learning experience (since I’m still learning how to draw digitally and in general).

I voted for pizza because it was such a curve ball. Very fun and random, and tasty.
There were many things I really like about this year, even some stuff I never got around to participate in due to being occupied, such as a card to a villager. Hopefully it'll come back in the future some time. I'm very glad I was able to get enough snowflakes for one of each wrapped gift.

I voted for my top 6, in no particular order:

1. Always love making a giveaway thread for sending out Xmas Lights.. just wish more people wanted them

2. Gingerbread Monstrosities was a lot of fun, I love getting the chance to bake something, especially if it's something silly

3. Secret Stocking Stuffers was a really cool concept and I was so surprised more people didn't enter! I had a lot of fun crafting my stocking

4. 12 Days of Collectibles is iconic, always look forward to it even though I never win anything! It's fun to see what cool collectibles others get!

5. Advent Calendar is on par with 12 Days of Collectibles.. I mean who doesn't love an advent calendar

6. the Pizza collectible is just amazing... I need more slices of the 'za

I didn't get around to participating in the second portion of Myths of Merriment or Season's Greetings, but I loved looking at what everyone else drew! Santa Search, Jingle's Wondrous Workshop, and Whack the Jingle were all great too! Present Swapping/Giving away gifts is of course fun, I just was a bit frazzled this year

I voted for multiple things. In no particular order.

1. Advent Calendar. I always look forward to this. The candy cane of this year was the best!

2. Santa Search. Mistreil's game was really fun and creative. The dialogue was cute and I felt I was playing an early Gameboy game lol

3. Whack the Jingle. Very fun. I got a lower bell count (as expected) than most but it was fun taking some of those bells from him.

4. Giving presents/receiving presents/present reveal. This is always the magic of this event. Giving presents because its the season of giving. Receiving presents because its always nice to get gifts. The reveal is the most exciting part about it though. Pink gift/Crystal Reindeer is the most popular this year but I am partial to the Blue Gift/Gingerbread House. The order of presents is a challenge in of itself.

5. New Christmas Collectibles. All were amazing this year! The Gift Box one was funny and a creative idea. My favourites are the Gingerbread House and the Crystal Reindeer. The Toy Car and Heart a Lights were creative and cute as well.

6. Pizza. The new Galaxy Pizza collectible. Its amazing. I was thinking there should be a pizza collectible and now there is one. Hopefully cheese, pineapple or mushroom varieties can be available in the future. The pizza reaction is also very cute. I imagined my snake avatar ordering pizzas for everyone, carrying pizza boxes on its tail. Lol.

7. The whole thing. Its a great way to wrap up the 20th anniversary...get it...wrap up. Cause presents and stuff...I'll see myself out now.

The bonus pizza absolutely!! Pizza is my favourite food, I love collectibles with the night background, and I loved giving out the pizza react to everyone.

For actual event things I would say my favourite aspects were
1. Gingerbread monstrosities - I absolutely loved looking through what everyone made! There are some very talented cookie decorators here and it gave me a reason to make my own Christmas cookies which I wouldn't have done otherwise.
2. Secret stocking stuffers - I enjoy being able to make things for other people, I just wish there was more time because I would have loved to make a couple more but this time of year is already so busy
3. Trading gifts! - I enjoy the swapping aspect of these events. I don't usually trade a ton of my collectibles so being forced to is kinda fun! I was able to get all my presents from different individuals this year and everyone put a nice holiday message for me which makes me very happy.

here's what I put my vote in for:

• Advent Calendar: I love the suspense of opening a door each day and seeing what surprises come! especially when it comes to see what the new candy cane will look like. the one for this year is stunning

• Whack the Jingle: I've been running low on TBT for a while now, and this event was very generous with it! that was much appreciated

• Pizza: the pizza definitely caught me off guard, especially because I didn't even know what was going on until I saw someone with a piece of pizza in their visible inventory. I'm so glad that I was able to get one for myself, I love the really random and quirky collectibles lol

All of the events were really fun! One thing I wanted to focus on was I was really glad that even though I didn't do all the events, I was still able to buy all the new collectibles and then some. Where I'm at with everything right now, I always appreciate any wiggle room.
