What was your first Gyroid?

I just got that one today actually!!! The sound they make is so nice omg. And that face <3

I especially love the little dance

Just dug up the two I got yesterday and honestly can't pick a favourite.

The left one was my 3rd Gyroid. It barely makes any noise and I had to take it inside to hear it.
The middle one looks like a hula dancer but makes noise like Christmas jingles.
The last one was my first and makes alien bloopy noises making it my louder one. It's probably my favorite since it's so alien.

That face though, if only I could hear the little fellow better.

I got the purple boomoid! I think it looks really cool and definitely like the shade of purple. As the name suggests, it makes drum-like noises.

According to my notes, it was Rattloid, though I dug up Ringoid at the same time so I can't be 100% sure, lol. I just took a picture of both of them anyways (left is Rattloid, right is Ringoid):

I also got the squeakoid first. Yesterday I dug up the fragment for a laseroid and Brewster gave me one for a bloopoid. The laseroid is the green spring-ey one in one of the pictures above, it says “boi, boi, bew.” It’s raining on my island today, so hopefully I’ll find some more tomorrow.

Update - dug up fully-grown dootoid and bwongoid after the rain.

The one that crumples and looks like a tin can is the only one I have so far. I love gyroids, but I was nonplussed when I saw this one it action. There is something surreal in the way it looks like a can being crushed and uncrushed.
