They aren't taking anything away from you. This is just like regular DLC on a 360. They give you the option to buy extra stuff if you really like the game. DLC takes nothing away from a game, but gives you the option to add more. The game is still $15. All the other crap is extra. You don't have to sign a contract saying that if you buy the game, you're obligated to buy the DLC.
Stop whining over something that's just pure exaggeration. DLC allows you to expand a game. They didn't shrink the game and force you to buy the DLC in order to get what you were supposed to have. Even if that was true, it's only like $5 extra, max. But If you want to whine about having to pay an extra $5 for a game that was already really cheap, go right ahead.

Other than birthdays and Christmas, My parents have literally NEVER payed for any of my games. Every game I own came out of my wallet.
Don't just assume crap like that. I mow lawns, work at preschools, and babysit. Every electronic and instrument I own was bought and paid for by me, with my money.
Even on my birthdays, I usually split the cost with my parents for anything expensive. (such as a console or computer.)
And what's all this about "no appreciation for money"? WTH. I saved up $250 for 2 years when I was 6-8 to get my bass guitar. None of that money came from my parents. It was made totally by work.
I'll never understand why people make such random assumptions...
