i planted some fruit trees right now but i dont want to wait for them to grow

so i want to time travel fowards a couple days until they are big
and after they are big i want to time travel back to the actual date.

will my fruit trees still be there??????

Yes they will be there when you time travel back. You might get some weeds depending on how many days you skipped

i never had any trees die. only flowers. and you get cockroaches in your house. i also heard that it affects the prices of turnips... but I'm not 100% on that. in my case. i did TT and my turnip price pattern was a steady decline... but it may have been a coincidence.

the only bad things that will happen if you time travel by big distances are...

- you'll get bed hair, but this isn't necessarily viewed as "bad" to many people.
- some neighbors may move out, and you'll have no control trying to ask your favorite villagers to stay.
- if you love your flowers, quite a few of them could die because you're not there every day to water them if they begin to wilt.
- there's a rumor that it will effect turnips prices, and make high number nook days more rare if you're in the turnip business.
- you can't use the in-game auction house, but who uses that when you can only do it like once every 2 weeks it seems, only for a few days, and only people on your friend roster can see what you're selling when we have an auction house forum?
- you'll get weeds, but some people enjoy pulling the weeds of waiting for mr. boo boo to pick them for you all at once.
- you'll get cockroaches.
- if you have turnips anywhere in your town, if you travel back in time before you bought them, i think they're permamently spoiled or something... maybe permanently spoiled if you go a week into the future also, but i've never time traveled in animal crossing, so i wouldn't know by experience.

something that i also noticed... when i was helping horus with his perfect town, we planted at least like... 50 trees or something absolutely insane that didn't sprout, and some ENTIRE squares failed when he time traveled like 4 days ahead so we could see which ones had sprouted. mostly all of them failed... i've never had that amount of trees fail, and i've planted much more than what we did plant in one day before. i don't time travel though, so it's interesting... but who knows.

i only want to travel enough days to let my trees grow.
and then go back to original date,

he time traveled like 4 days ahead so we could see which ones had sprouted. mostly all of them failed...

yeah people say nook will buy for less than 96 no matter what and joan will sell for higher than 96 ( thats why you buy them and sell them to someone elses nooks)

the trees wont die i planted a 10 by 10 orchard and and only 3 died

I have been doing this lately too, I just ran into a LOT of exotic fruit, and i've been watering and tting forward a day at a time for the fruit trees to grow, it's really convenient for you to do this, so go ahead and try it.

Just time travel ONE DAY at a time.

I do that too! I time travel 3 days and then they are fully grown, but some might have died.. anywayss if you time travel back they will still be there as well.

I've been wondering about that, I'm trying to work on my orchards and have been considering TTing just to make them grow and then go pack to present day, so my trees would still be there if I TTed back?

I TT 3 days forward and they never die. They'll only die if they're planted in one of those spots that don't allow trees to grow there. I seem to have them everywhere.

That's why I chop down old fruitless trees and plant fruit ones in the place. They always grow however many days you TT.

I only wanna TT just 3-4 days so my fruit trees have some fruit and I get an idea of how much more/less I need done to my orchard it's so hard to tell with baby trees mixed in with fruit trees and it's hard telling whats a real tree and whats a fruit tree.

If you want all of your plants to grow, I don't have anything against TT, but for this, grow them the RIGHT way. By wtering them and waiting so none of them will die.h
