What's a new villager species you would love to see?

lol I've been asking for this for nearly a month. Give me different dinos too like Theropods (your T-Rexes, Allosauruses, Spinosauruses), your Ceratopsians (Triceratops, Protoceratops), and of course, Sauropods like Brachiosaurus.

It's probably only going to happen between "Never" and "Keep Dreaming", but I'm hoping.

Maybe a snake. Imagine a peppy snake. lmao

I wouldn't mind a spider as well. Would just love insect or arachnid villagers visiting the museum and scaring the heck out of Blathers.

I know we have a lot of cats but I would love kittens like Katie ☺. How about collab with Grumpy Cat? sand kittens? Also I’d like a real dragon and phoenix; not an ostrich or alligator.

I really love the piñata suggestion. I think that would do so well. And I think we could use more animal villagers like that. We have clay ones, and we have robotic, hopkins, and stitches. Those types could be expanded upon too.

We need owls, but only if they are nocturnal. You’ll see them walking around and hanging out during late hours, but they will be asleep during the daylight hours. I would love this. They can be nocturnal villagers!

Bats and ferrets would be really cute! I would love to see more manatees too! Just like Wardell! He’s so cute and I love that they added him in.

I've always wanted bats! I would have so many bat villagers.

Other than that, I would love a generic "bug" villager which has a moth kind of look, you could make some of the villagers have different colours to make it look like a bee or a butterfly or anything really. I think that would work really well. I would also just have bug villagers then lol

i think animals that are used for ''special'' characters shouldn't be villagers.

so things like:
- owls ( blathers and celeste )
- hedgehogs( able sisters )
- giraffes ( gracie )
- tanooki's ( tom )
- turtles ( tortimer )

shouldn't be villagers.

but things that aren't done yet such as,
- bats
- bisons
- capybaras
- dinos ( like a T-rex )
- platypus

These would be great additions to the already existing roster of animals.
( if they ever do the platypus, they should make him turquoise, with a brown fedora hat on, and be named Perry. )
other cute and/or funny names for the above mentioned animals could be, Damon, for the bat, or Terry for the T-rex, or Sonny for the bison, and like Cappi for the capybara.

( sure these are all puns, and of course they don't have to be, but i like it when they have a name that is also a pun or a reference. )
( such as Tom the cat, Biskit the dog, and Chevre the goat. )

My top 5!

1. Snakes! This is a very biased pick and I know not everyone likes snakes, but I think they would make interesting designs. I love reptiles in general but I really love snakes. They can be done, even if they dont have limbs. If there can be an octopus villager then theres no reason they can't do a snake.

2. Bats. Looks like I'm not the only one who really wants bat villagers! I fear bats may look too similar to mice villagers because of the ears. To avoid some ugly designs, the ears will have to be very pointy.

3. Turtles. Yes, you can catch turtles in AC, just like you can catch frogs and octopuses in AC so yes there can be turtle villagers (this can also apply to shark villagers!) Turtles are very cute and there many design ideas that they can use.

4&5. As much as I want fox (4) and owl (5) villagers, Redd and Celeste are NPCs. Rover is a cat and there are cat villagers so it wouldn't be too much of an issue. You can also say that for Tortimer and turtle villagers, but Tortimer seems more like a tortoise than a turtle. The problem for me is that it would make me feel bad and wish that Celeste was a villager and not an NPC.
