What's everyone doing with their gyroids?

This has been on my mind lately. I've been hoarding these things thinking I'll be able to trade them or sell them to other players at some point...but I recently realized since I have a TON of them by now (almost to the point of overkill) that most people are also in the same situation and have no need to trade for them.

Should I just be carting these things off to Nooks instead of slowly filling up my storage?

Shari's yard has a gyroid nursery, or a herd of gyroids... Which ever you prefer to call them.
Whenever the cosmos shower diy spawns for me, I will put a couple up in a dark dirt patch for gyroid fragments to be buried.
She also has a pottery hobby going on.
Haven't decided what to do with duplicates yet. I feel like they spawn way too often so right now I have duplicates starting to populate my beaches until I can decide. Still wish they didn't spawn so often, poor Kapp'n going broke..

I’m guilty of hoarding them. I typically keep the ones I like, but sell the rest to Nook’s Cranny. I find you get a decent amount of bells for them and having so many things in storage feels really stressful to me, lol.

Right now, I am just hoarding them, although I don't actively hunt for it anymore. After my 2nd character finally managed to collect all of them (without trading), I stopped going on boat tours. Whenever it snows, I just dig it up the next day. Or if I'm lucky enough, get the one that washes ashore and plant it.

I still don't have a plan on what to do with them. I might give them away here on TBT once I think I've hoarded too much.

Completed main Island all color Gyroid collection and have them in storage for now.
2nd Island is almost complete.
Posters on Gamefaqs wrote burying 4 Gyroids will stop spawning snow/rain ones. Fragments don't count. After I complete Island 2 I'm going to test it. I'd like to get back to Player 3 fossil Nook Miles.

I have the full gang just sitting outside, singing to kk polka (temporary thing) and I'm collecting multiples of the ones I really like. The other ones, I just sell.

I don't want to get too heavy handed in decorating with them, but I'd like to disperse a few around my island.

I'm going to tear down my playground and make a gyroid music theater. Then I'll place a couple in other areas of my island that have music playing and sell the rest.

They're all just sitting in my storage. I don't even know which ones I have. Too many. I'm not sure if I will end up using them anywhere or not yet.

They're all sitting in storage! I've been meaning to display my favourites, I just haven't gotten around to it! Right now, my favourite is the scatteroid.

35 unique ones are currently on the beach happily singing and dancing all K.K. songs. I plan to let them live on different areas of the island, but I still haven't decided yet. The 36th unique gyroid is going to be right outside of the museum.

I will also have some duplicates on my house, and I'll also try to see if I can gift one to all the residents that match their personality/looks/hobbies. All other gyroids will probably stay on my storage until I hit the limit.

Some are on display in my basement and the rest are either in storage, have been given as gifts to my villagers or have been sold.

I have a few displayed on my front beaches at the moment I have seen you can put them in cute and funny places with the furniture in your house. Which I will be trying to do once I have fully finished my home designing and decorating. But for now I mostly just sell them at nooks.

I have a few placed around my island and in my home, but most of them are sitting in storage. I've stopped actively searching for them or going to Kappn's islands. I may make a gyroid room at some point, similar to the one I had in the New Leaf museum exhibit room.

Good question. I don't know wtf to do with them yet, so they're mostly just in storage with a couple around my home. In NL I had an extra character, which I turned the house into a creepy rundown gyroid house.

i really like them and enjoy collecting things, so i’ve been hoarding them and trying to collect them all. i’m not sure what i’ll do with them long-term (besides keeping them), but right now i just have them displayed on my island in the order that i’ve obtained them. i have plenty of duplicates in my storage, though, that i’ve been saving to either sell or trade.

I keep the extras lying around to give to my brother, or I give/sell them to other players. Other than that, I keep the ones I do have in my storage because I don't know what to do with them yet.

Edit: I put all my gyroids in my basement (after customizing like 30 of them of my choice) with a stereo. I think they sound really good with Bubblegum K.K. and K.K. Steppe. ^^
