What's going on?

For three days in a row, Brewster has told me he doesn't need me to work. And now my Happy Home Showcase is closed. What gives?

Same here, and although Jack was around on the 1st, I don't have any visitors today (none yesterday either), which is what usually makes Brewster not want help. My HH showcase is fine though.

Are you trying to work at the caf? outside working hours (11am/11pm)?

What does Digby say when you try to enter the showcase? Did you turn off the streetpass feature?

I'm not sure why your HHA showcase isn't working, but I heard that you can't work between the 1st-7th October, as Jack is in your town and that prevents you from working there.

Never heard that one before; would explain the OP's problem. I seldom work at the caf? since I've complete the gift collection - I think I'll give it a try today to see what happens. I wonder if the "no work at the caf?" goes away if all of your players (assuming you have more than one) have spoken to Jack.
