I wasn't able to do a successful Surprise Trade for the longest time and just today I figured out why

I never connected to the internet first XD XD XD

I still don't really know how to breed Pok?mon with good IVs, right natures and HAs, but at least I'm working on it.

That happens to me often, OP. I hate that SWSH needs an extra step to connect to wireless  I always forget, even now.

My noob moment happened when I was making a trade with a user here for the first time, but I think I either didn't go into Link trade or didn't check the Link code trainer name. I ended up finding someone who gave me a chinese farfetch'd (which was cool, because it's a sword exclusive and I needed it) but I felt bad for randomly giving him my baby toxel and possibly interfering with another person's trade u_u

I guess my other noob moments would be choosing the wrong pokemons in battles because I forget about counters for dual pokemon and then really messing up my flow in battle :'D And also getting totally wrecked by a sudowoodo early game because I forgot he wasn't grass type (yes just like the anime lmao)

Yes, I know about that! I still want to learn how to pass down the right natures though, just in case.

Passing down a certain nature is easy. All you need is a ditto with the desired nature or a pokemon in the same egg group with the desired nature and an Everstone for the ditto/pokemon to hold. 100% of the babies will have the desired nature that way.

Does it have to be our own? One of the most annoying experiences I run across is people bringing Pokemon to raids with moves that can't be used in raids, such as Low Kick I believe it is. And instead of realizing their mistake, they continuously spam the move and waste every single one of their turns in the battle. Thanks for nothing!

To add a couple of my own:
- Bringing Appletun to a GMax Lapras fight. Oops
- Trying to do raid invitations when Y-Comm is disconnected.

Thnx for letting me know so I don't make this mistake myself. XD

This was me as well. Only because I feel the way that you connect to the internet in this game can be easily missed:eek:

Thank you so much!

Running off to go catch a Lapras. Found one. It was level 60. I had been breeding pokemon so all I had with me was a level 24 Carkol. Lapras broke out of a Quick Ball. Wouldn't let me run away. OHKO'd my Carkol causing me to black out for the first time in a very long while. Boy, did I feel dumb :p

I found out the semi-hard way about that level restriction catching thing when you don't have the badges. Luckily, I had a pok? doll for running away from whatever strong overleveled Pokemon I had encountered in the first wild area before it took out any of my team.

Not exactly the same, but it did remind me of that experience.
