What's with the 60 item limit?

I've never even realised there was an item limit o_0

I guess even with big rooms I don't have a lot of one thing~ I try to design 'neatly'? i guess x3
Maybe I'm just not as creative as you guys aha

Yeah, generally I'm not phased with the item restriction. I felt as if 60 would be enough for what I pick out, carefully placing them in a sensible amount of space according to what the client wants.

However, my most recent request was for Jay's bowling alley - and the floor plans I got to choose from were totally different from any other client I had yet. All they had in common was a very long 6x12 main room; going for a two-room layout would also give you a very generous 6x6 side room, including an option to make it a second floor or basement. I'm not kidding!

And with four alleys laid out, as well as lights, scorecard monitors, the reception desk and its equipment, a cubbyhole for shoes and food stuff, I ended up hitting the 60 item limit extremely quickly - and the walls were barely touched.

I'm kind of hoping this is a one-off; was a very unusual task after all. But with 300 more clients to work with, I have a feeling there may be more surprises along the way.

It's so dumb bc like i was making an outdoor stage yard for shep and i was using qr codes. but i had to get rid of a bunch of tiles and it made it a bit harder to design. >.>

My biggest complaint with all Animal Crossing is this constant feel of limitation.

When I hit the limit in my school in HHD, I was so frustrated. I had the perfect place for 2 more items. The room feels incomplete.

It is the most ridiculous limit, especially exteriors with flowers.
