What's your biggest 'unpopular/controversial' opinion?

Mine have already been listed above. I do like sausage and ham, however.

My controversial opinion is that driving is overrated. I have everything I need at home because I have a WFH job, can just order groceries and food, and don't need to go anywhere (except for martial arts practice). Having a car, paying for it, paying for gas, and paying for insurance is costly, especially when people like me already have student loans and finding a place of my own to worry about. Not to mention the gasoline cars emit into the atmosphere is terrible for the ozone layer. People place so much importance on climate change being real, but then go ahead and continue to drive gasoline cars like it's no one's business (TBF though, the alternatives aren't widely viable yet).

Please don't @ me.
I use public transport to get around primarily, I don’t really like driving either haha. Hopefully in the future electric cars are more affordable for everyone, would be ideal.

Sausage sandwiches are the move 😍

Hmm...let's see

--I like opera music.
--I regularly blog about stuff like drag, old movie stars, famous photos, etc.
--I like thicker, older men (daddies).
--I don't like carbonated drinks-- that includes soda and sparkling water. The fizz bothers me.
--I think fanfiction about real, living people is weird.
--I miss 2D/traditional animation, and don't care much for the 3D variety. (But there are exceptions.)
--I don't like superhero movies.
--I don't like huge makeup palettes. Sure, they're pretty and all, but I prefer smaller ones with colors I use more often. For example, I use one eyeshadow palette of white, brown, gray, and black. Any more colors, and I wouldn't touch it.
--Dolls are creepy, but I like stuffed animals.
--Dr. Shrunk needs to appear in New Horizons in some way.

I like Italian opera! Pavarotti and Bocceli mainly.

I don’t know what classifies as a thicker, older man 🤣. You mean in intelligence or body appearance?

I used to do a bit of stop-motion animation in college. I loved it!

I don’t put makeup on, so can’t comment 😂

Dolls are creepy. Yes.

Dr. Shrunk was awesome! I’d love to see him back!

Oh, I meant body! Like husky, a bit of meat on the bones, a round belly— what some call a “dad bod.” (Don’t like that term, but it describes it best.)

KPOP is bad and most KPOP fans are extremely annoying and racist in how they infantalize and fetishize asian men. It's also an extremely corporate and abusive industry regarding the ethics of how idols are treated
I’m not into K-POP so I can’t comment on the music genre or the community.

What I will say though is that you can’t tar a whole fanbase/community as racist, that’s extremely harsh. There’s racist people in all walks of life and it’s a very small minority.

- Nearly every Ghbili movie I've watched have been visual spectacles with no substance and terrible pacing. Spirited Away in particular bore me to tears.
- Despite being my first Zelda game, Ocarina of Time is extremally overrated. It gets treated like this masterpiece that has never been replicated. It has. Every single 3D Zelda game following Ocarina of Time has exceeded it in terms of combat, story, and design. At best it's a good game with dull combat.
- Chowder and The Misadventures of Flapjack are wonderful cartoons that deserve to be recognized as some of Cartoon Network's best.
- The PlayStation Vita is an excellent console with a bevy of fun games. You just really have to enjoy certain genres to get the most out of the system.
- Instant ramen is disgusting. I'd rather spend the extra money to get real ramen instead of the mushy stuff at the supermarket.

I’ve never watched anime so I can’t comment on the first one.
This may be very controversial but I’m not particularly keen on the Zelda franchise as whole, I think there’s much better RPGs out there to play.
I’ve never seen those cartoons so I can’t comment.
I’ve always been an Xbox fan over PlayStation so never owned any PS consoles.
Yes, I agree. When it comes to food, the fresher the better. Always.

-I'm not one for superhero movies and anime. I'm not necessarily saying that I hate them - It's just not my thing.

-Breath of the Wild is NOT the best Zelda game. Yes, the game itself is good, but to say that it's the best in the series probably means you haven't played the other good Zelda games.

-I honestly never understood why the Wii U and Gamecube sold so little. I don't have either consoles, but they both have games that I'm dying to play and they seem like solid additions to the Nintendo family.

-Writing fanfiction about real people is a huuuge NO. I can never stand by this, especially if the material is explicit. These are real people who have real lives. Need I say more? They can also read these fics too (or a friend/family member of theirs). I have an online friend who does this, too...

I’m not a big fan of superhero films either. Anime I wouldn’t mind getting into though.
Not really a fan of Zelda in general so don’t know too much about them. I’ve heard BoTW is amazing though?
I used to play the GameCube all the time as a kid. The Wii U was a great console too!
I didn’t even know people write fan fiction about real people 😂 sounds a bit weird if you ask me.

I much prefer traveling via train and coach bus than an airplane. There are way less restrictions when traveling on the ground. I actually like the Greyhound bus. This bus line is very hated and has a very bad reputation, but aside from the characters you meet, it’s not a bad way to travel. If it weren’t for the people, I’d ride it more often. I’m always on the train, though. If you’ve ever been on the Amtrak train, there’s a big chance we’ve crossed paths.

Okay real hot topic incoming............
Pokémon < Digimon

It's so hot it dominates our wallets and has taken over the world of media franchise.
Hard agree on this. The story, character development, world building, and lore is much more interesting. Also, the kids are savage in the English dub! The mon designs and evolutions are also 🔥.

For better or for worse, though, Pokémon is more financially successful as an IP, which is quite amazing on its own. XD

The train and bus is for sure a more scenic method of travel! Very relaxing! 😍

I didn’t know it existed before and caused so many arguments 😂

I’m a massive Burger King fan so I have to agree with you there!
