not surprised to see the middle three aren't complete. i heavily dislike the crafting system and avoid it where possible. i can't be asked to run back to my house every five minutes and craft a new set of tools, so i always customized the set i had each morning to match my outfit and that stopped them from breaking. now that i'm using the gold rod/net, the number might start rising a little more, but it won't be by much.

similarly, i only craft furniture when it's a hot item nook mile+ achievement and i can be asked to do it, which isn't often anymore since i have 300k miles and no need to acquire more. that one will probably go even slower than the tools.

i only dove/dive when needing to catch the new creatures and collect the mermaid recipes/items. since i currently have all that done (the last two creatures don't appear until, like... march?), i don't dive anymore because it's a hassle having to constantly run to nooks and not being able to release creatures in the water. if i really wanted to, i could knuckle down and complete it in a day or two though.

I actually don't pay attention so it's a pleasant surprise anytime I get any kind of achievement, ha, ha. Although since January is a slow month, I'm try to pay more attention to these. For example, I've been more diligent about visiting villager houses since I realized getting the pitfall recipe is an achievement. Haven't found that one yet.

I've definitely been slacking on all but especially catching bugs and diy tools. Diy tools, I would generally buy them over crafting - so I've tried lately to stop doing that and only craft (though the store ones are cuter sigh)...my numbers there should improve.
I guess I could go island hopping since bug catching rn on the main island is very bare with it being winter. Seeing it all written out definitely makes me feel motivated for the moment to try more lol....for the moment.
