Lately, I've noticed and heard of prank accounts and trolling. For example, last night someone posted 8 posts under the name of Edgar Allen Poe, then wrote a spam thread announcing his death. I don't know about anyone else, but to me, that's just stupid. DO NOT CREATE PRANK ACCOUNTS. It's not funny, it's annoying. Don't parade around as if you were someone you are not.

No trolling accounts please. They are annoying and just stupid. Don't make an account just to tick people off, or (from what I know) that will lead in an increase of warning or worse. And also, pplease no kiss-up accounts (ex. Stormisandawesomeadmin) that is just dumb, he is a good admin, but don't try to kiss up to them to gain their favor. When you make an alt. account just to mess with someone, (ex. if someone were to make a Bacon Girl just to tick me off, I'd probably report them) you will most likely be reported and then banned. And don't doubt that someone will actually report you.

No vulgar terms in your name. None to begin with and certainly none later on. Supposedly, if someone would submit a name change that contains something profound, the admin would ban or warn them.

This is a board intended for fun. But when your idea of fun is ticking someone off or spamming, reeking havoc, or just being stupid, think before you act.

You are welcome. I was just annoyed last night about the troll account and the ones that have been. So I decided to write this.

Very well written and professionally presented. That account last night was a mistake and should have never happened. If they have something to say, just PM that person and sort it out outside of The Bell Tree. Like you said, this board is intended for a young audience and supposed to be fun. This is not a place for ignorant human beings to come around and just bother other people. If there is a problem, either report it to an administrator or sort it out yourself. Here's another hint, you could just ignore it and let them rot in your memory. You don't need to be dealing with such characters.

People should have enough common sense not to use usernames that have inappropriate words and such. If you don't have enough common sense to avoid doing so, you obviously do not belong in this forum. People will not like you, or people will only bother you. In the long run, it'll generally lead to more spam and problems rather than answers and peace.

Anyone who creates Prank Accounts knowing that they are already registered on the forum only to tick other people off should be IP Banned from the site. However, there are different situations and circumstances (i.e. siblings fooling around, family members wishing to participate in the forum as well). These sort of things could be easily arranged with the staff though.

So here's the bottom line, if you're here to waste everyone else's time, get out.

They could be, but if you go overboard, then it's not. Your username is used to define you, if a letter is what defines you and what you like, then use it.
