Not sure if this is a thing in New leaf but usually when villagers move away and multi-player is not activated, they will be gone for good when they move away...right? For example. One of my past villagers, Papi moved away about a month ago. My boyfriend has connected and talked to him before when visiting my town but NOT on his moving day and certainly not when he was thinking about moving. My boyfriend has not connected to my 3DS during that time when he wanted to move/was moving. He did not talk to him. So once he moved...he was gone...right? About A MONTH LATER, Papi moved into my boyfriend's town. At first I thought, this is a new Papi because mine was long gone...nope. I talked to him and it was MY Papi! He still had the furniture I gave him in his house too. I found it very odd but very cool at the same time! So now currently, he visits my museum and market street from time to time (as my bf's villager) without me even being online. The same thing happened with Kevin too. My bf never talked to him when he thought about moving and when he was packing, ended up in his town. It was my Kevin because he asked what I was doing there :p

So, I apologize if this kind of thread already exists. I was searching for it on the forums but could not find any like this.

Anyone experience something like this? Or not experience this even after connecting to other villages? Or is this nothing new and I am just unaware that this was already possible?

So I did some digging around and stumbled upon some info about this by accident. So it's called the Void? I had no idea the term for it but now I know how it happens!
