When will the original SSB Come out for VC?

I've been waiting FOREVER for this to game come out on VC! I've always had 1000 wii points put to the side just for when the game would be released, but i'm getting fed up of waiting and want to buy some GH songs. I know i can always get some more wi points, but should I just go ahead and buy the GH songs I want? And does anyone know when this game will come out?

That game brings back memories I got it for the n64 too tons of fun to bad none of my friends want to play it since "Brawl is the GREATEST".

It's been on Japan's Virtual Console for a week now, so the North American release should be pretty soon.

Well, it just came out in Japan, so it should be coming sometime soon...maybe. Then again, we're still waiting for EarthBound. =/
